The beginning of a new school year is often filled with beautiful and memorable moments. Early education at the start of a new school year is a crucial moment that marks the beginning of teaching and learning activities, adaptation to a new environment, and a transition period for children to a new school environment and classroom atmosphere.
The school atmosphere at the start of a new school year is always filled with various activities. Moreover, the Department of Education and Culture is currently promoting various activities for the transition process for new students, such as:
1. MPLS (School Environment Introduction Period) Activities
This activity includes introducing teachers, friends, and the classroom and school environment to new students. This activity lasts for 5 days for this new school year.
2. Carrying Out Morning Activities
Morning activities to welcome the new school year, carried out together by teachers and students, include ceremonies, morning exercises, and other morning activities determined for each school.
3. Adapting to the New School and Classroom Environment
These adaptation activities are led by each teacher to ensure a comfortable environment for new students and those moving up a grade.
Besides at school, parents are also busy at the start of the new school year. Here are some of the activities parents do while accompanying their children at school:
1. Accompanying Children
Generally, every parent is always present to accompany their son or daughter on the first day of school. This is simply to build self-confidence and instill courage in the child.
2. Preparing Equipment
Parents also ensure their child has everything they need for school, such as books and uniforms, which they sometimes prepare the night before.
The school atmosphere at the start of a new school year is always filled with busy roads, crying or shy new students, and enthusiastic parents escorting their children to the gate and even into the classroom to accompany their beloved children. This moment marks the beginning of learning activities with energy and enthusiasm.
