My dairy game [12/07/2026] How I Spent My Sunday Traveling from Abuja to Nasarawa

Good day everyone. You are all welcome to another episode of my diary. My name is @wiregboss, and I am happy to share how I spent my Sunday with you. Today, I woke up feeling very happy and excited because it was Sunday, a free day for me. I didn't have to go to work, so I was able to relax and enjoy the morning without rushing to get ready.When I woke up, I was very hungry, so I decided to prepare breakfast for myself. Yesterday, while returning home from work, I bought some Indomie noodles because I planned to eat them for breakfast. Indomie is one of my favorite meals, especially when I want something quick and satisfying. After cooking it, I enjoyed my breakfast, and it gave me the energy I needed to start the day.

After enjoying my breakfast, I proceeded to take my bath and got myself ready for church. Since it was Sunday, I was happy to have enough time to prepare without rushing like I usually do on workdays. Before leaving the house, I spent some time thinking about my journey to Nasarawa and how I wanted everything to go smoothly. I decided to ride my motorcycle to church because I had already planned to travel after the church service. I also wanted to stop by my mechanic's workshop so he could inspect the bike before I began my journey. I believe it is always important to check a vehicle or motorcycle before traveling a long distance because it helps prevent unexpected problems on the road. After the church service, I headed straight to my mechanic. I explained that I was about to travel and asked him to thoroughly check the motorcycle. He carefully inspected the engine, brakes, tyres, chain, and other important parts to make sure everything was working properly. I patiently waited while he carried out the inspection because my safety was more important than rushing to leave. When he finished, he assured me that the motorcycle was in good condition and ready for the journey. I felt relieved and more confident knowing that my bike had been checked by a professional. After thanking my mechanic, I made my final preparations and got ready to begin my journey to Nasarawa with peace of mind, hoping for a safe and successful trip.

After my mechanic finished checking and fixing the motorcycle, I took it back home and washed it so it would look clean and neat before I started my journey. I always like my bike to be in good condition, especially when traveling.

After washing my motorcycle, I decided to go and cut my hair so I would look neat and fresh before traveling to Nasarawa. Since I was going to spend some time with my family, I wanted to look presentable. I headed to my regular barber's shop because I always like the way he cuts my hair. When I got there, a few people were already waiting for their turn, so I sat down and relaxed while chatting with some of them. My barber always plays good music in his shop, which makes the environment lively and enjoyable. I really enjoyed listening to the music while waiting, and before I knew it, it was my turn. He gave me a clean and nice haircut just the way I wanted it. After he finished, I looked at myself in the mirror and was very happy with the result. I thanked him, paid for the haircut, and left the shop feeling fresh, confident, and fully prepared for the rest of my journey.

Then the journey started, and I enjoyed the cool fresh air as I rode my bike. Along the way, I admired the beautiful natural plants and green scenery by the roadside. I passed through several villages, seeing new places and different faces, which made the journey interesting. The ride was peaceful, and before long, I arrived safely at my destination. My aunt welcomed me warmly and prepared some delicious food for me to eat. I was quite hungry after the long journey, so I enjoyed the meal and felt refreshed afterward.

After eating, my aunt and I spent some quality time together, chatting and sharing stories. We laughed, caught up on different things, and I truly enjoyed every moment we spent together.

It was already 6:30 in the evening, and I had to leave to start my journey back home so that I could rest well and be ready to go to work the following day.
