Incredible India Monthly Contest of April#2: Self-sacrifice!

How do you glance at the term "Self-sacrifice"? Describe.

I glance at the term "Self-sacrifice" as laying down my progress, happiness, time, or what I wanted to do for another person to do it or feel happy. It is like abandoning my needs for another person to have it.

Also, "self-sacrifice" means paying more attention to solving other people's problems than solving my own problems. It is all about depriving myself of the things that would have made me feel happy for another person to have it.

Do you believe self-sacrifice often helps to enhance relationships? Share your viewpoint!

Yes, I believe self-sacrifice often helps to enhance relationships. Relationship is all about sacrificing for one another which Self-sacrifice helps to enhance relationships as partners get to see themselves as people who cannot do without each other.

Self-sacrifice helps to build trust in a relationship, it strengthens love, making partners believe in one another. Without self-sacrifice, a relationship wouldn't be strong. People remember those who sacrifice for them more than those who do nothing for them.

Self-sacrifice often seeks recognition and respect in return. I invite you to share your justification regarding this notion!

Yes, self-sacrifice often seeks recognition and respect in return because when someone does something for you what he or she would be expecting from you is to do for him or her during his or her downtime or to respect him or her. Respect shows that you appreciate what a person does for you and recognition is a way of showing appreciation. There is no point in sacrificing for someone who cannot sacrifice for you.
