My journal of 22nd July| One's behaviour reveals their true identity!

Dear Journal,
I wish to pose a question that reflects an observation I have made regarding human behaviour:
Why do individuals often alter their conduct in accordance with their desires?

It is commonplace to witness a change in demeanour when individuals require assistance; their tone is courteous and respectful.

However, once their needs are met, they may act as though they do not recognise those who once aided them. Such behaviour disregards the time and effort invested by others for their benefit.

Today proved to be quite busy, though I dedicated my time to assist a relative rather than attend to my personal matters.

I visited a showroom for Hitachi air conditioners,
as my cousin sought to purchase seven units for his new garment showroom.

I began my day early, intending to arrive at the showroom by noon. After completing my household tasks in the morning, I intended to prepare chilla, but unfortunately, I became preoccupied and forgot to take a photograph.

After showering and getting dressed promptly;
I captured a few photographs while walking along the road.

However, I encountered waterlogging halfway to my destination, which prompted me to take an alternate route to reach the main road.

Although this decision consumed additional time, I successfully avoided the congestion caused by the waterlogged area.

Upon reaching the main road, I waited approximately fifteen minutes for a bus to arrive. The bus was initially empty, allowing me to secure a seat in the designated ladies’ section. However, within an hour, the bus became crowded with passengers.

The showroom is located at a considerable distance from my residence, and I discovered that they are dealers of Hitachi products.

My cousin had previously purchased a substantial number of air conditioners from the same establishment. Unfortunately, I was unable to facilitate the transaction as I do not possess a credit card or a finance card.

Furthermore, I had recently changed my phone number,
which is no longer linked to my Aadhaar card; thus, I did not receive the OTP that was sent for verification.

After dedicating time to this endeavour, I realised that I could not proceed with the purchase until I linked my new phone number to my Aadhaar card. Therefore, I decided to return home, during which I contemplated visiting a nearby bank.

Upon arriving home around 4 PM, I proceeded to the bank, where a representative informed me that I needed to pay a fee of 150 rupees, equivalent to approximately 38.77 steem.

Two behaviours that I consistently find disheartening are selfishness and rudeness. Today, I was reminded of a valuable lesson: individuals often underestimate others when they perceive that they are no longer beneficial to them. However, those who truly comprehend a person's intent may feign ignorance.

Upon returning home after completing my banking tasks, I took another shower and decided to capture a selfie to commemorate the day and the lesson learned.

It is essential to recognise that when someone portrays themselves as ignorant, it does not inherently mean that they are; instead,
this could be an opportunity to evaluate another's arrogance and gauge their self-perception.

Those who possess genuine knowledge tend to avoid ostentation; this is the hallmark of true wisdom.
