The August contest #2 by sduttaskitchen: Every experience has its own worth!
Continuous experiences define each person’s life and create an endless amount of events, decisions, and situations. Whether it is a good or bad experience, each moment has its own importance.
I am glad to take part in this interesting contest organized by @sduttaskitchen and contemplate on the value of human experience.
1. Do you agree that every experience has its own value?
Yes, I do agree that every experience has its own value. There is no such thing that takes place in life absolutely in isolation and does not teach something. Good experiences create joy, give us strength and confidence to continue living and doing things. In contrast to negative experience or even failure, they sometimes bring the best outcomes.
Difficult and traumatic moments may seem painful at the moment of passing through them but later help us to become stronger and wiser. Some simple meetings teach us valuable lessons as well.
2. From your perspective, which factor is more important in influencing one’s experiences: time or circumstances?
It seems to me that the majority of experience comes from circumstances, but we can find out its true essence only with time elapsing.
Circumstances refer to the environment we are in or the actions that push us to the certain point in the past. Thus, we need time so that to understand what the experience really means.
3. What is your personal view regarding the significance of experience in contrast with other aspects of life?
Certainly, I reckon that experience is more significant than many other aspects of our lives. For instance, material objects, money, reputation can be obtained and lost in an instant, however, experience is something that cannot be forgotten completely throughout our lives.
Our experience influences our decision-making processes and affects our empathy levels. It dictates our behavior in emergency situations and our interaction with other people. Without experience, we cannot transform knowledge into action, and only through experience can our knowledge be applied to practice. So, in a nutshell, it is not material things that are important, but merely our life experiences.
Conclusion
All events occurring in our lives could be described in terms of milestones, setbacks, and achievements. Thus, both good and bad must be embraced to define who we are and who will become in our lifetime ahead. I thank the Incredible India Community for organizing such a stimulating contest!
I would like to nominate my friends, @bijoy1, @wgonz, and @lilianchukwu, to participate in this contest.
Best regards,
