AI Is An Excuse To Get Rid Of Your Jobs
If you haven't figured it out, the number and types of jobs, and their pay is systematically set.
The history books say that the mines who practiced company store policies were shut down. This is not the case, the practice is now employed by ALL of the corporations and national govern-cements.
You rent your house from the company. You buy your stuff from the company store.
You load 16 tons, and whatya get?
Another day older and deeper in debt.
Saint Peter don't you call me cause i can't go
I owe my soul to the company store.
You aren't actually paid. Think about it. Your check is automatically deposited in the bank, of which a large portion goes to paying your mortgage, automatically withdrawn, the money goes back to the bank. Did you earn any money???
The only difference in this and company housing is that you feel you have choice.
And what a choice! This ticky-tacky house or that ticky-tacky house. The one with walls painted blue, or the one with a breakfast nook.
You work for the company, you buy from the company store.
And the number of people working is highly regulated. Their pay is highly regulated.

Most people do nothing
If you ask most corporate employees if they actually do something that contributes to products being built, if they reply honestly, they would say no.
So, the "govern-cement" requires forms to be filled out. And so, the corporation has a person responsible for filling out forms. The govern-cement has a person responsible for receiving and filing that filled out form. Has any work been done? For the most part, no.
Most of those forms are CYA (cover your ass) and have no useful information except in the case of your ass coming under scrutiny. So, except for the corporate culture of having to defend your ass, these two people are wasting their lives.
FURTHER! back in 90s i found i could automate most of these filings, on both sides. There was a lot of resistance to actually doing so. Me being naive, i thought i was just removing inefficiency. And the people thought they were defending their jobs. What i didn't know from an even higher point of view, the "company" was keeping a certain number of people employed.
In America, 3% of people are farmers. 97% of people are fed, without ever touching a plant or an animal.
It is estimated that 5% do all the trades and a tiny, tiny percentage actually build things in factories.
We haven't even gotten to 10% of the population, and all the jobs are done.
This is what factories promised us
This is what automation promised us
This is what computers promised us
This is what AI is promising us
So, what does 90% of the people do? They were promised to be freed from wage slavery.
They do some sort of support (waiters, cooks) or they do some sort of make work.

What does AI have to do with this?
AI isn't doing shit.
You might call it a rubbish lister, if that wasn't a put down to actual rubbish listers.
It goes through an immense amount of data, and pulls out the repeating patterns which teaches it to repeat those same patterns. Which has an immense value for things that need going through a pile of rubbish. But, it doesn't fill out a form or draw a picture, it just spews the pattern back onto the page. The form is sorta filled out, the picture is sorta created. But, only to humans, because we are pattern recognizers. Like a child drawing a stick figure is recognized as a picture of a human.
AI is the next generation of the thing to blame.
Like, China is taking all our jerbs.
Or sabots into the gears. (Sabot-age)
All of those jobs i recognized could be eliminated back in the 90s? Suddenly, AI can do those jobs.

What is really happening?
Inflation (of store purchased items, like food) is too high. The solution, get rid of a bunch of jobs, and demand for those things goes down. Thus "fighting" inflation.
Sooo, get rid of enough jobs to balance out the ins and outs from the banks.
When you pay your mortgage payment, it goes straight to the banks.
When you buy something at Wallymart, it goes straight to the banks.
This is a bit complicated, so i will try my best to explain all the pieces.
That one dollar toy at DollarMart costs less that 10¢ to the store. (this is really the mark up on things)
Now, Wallymart borrows money, to buy the shit from China, which they sell in their stores and then pays the banks back. Wallymart makes money on the inflation between when they bought the junk on credit, and when they sell the junk at the store. The "manufacturer" gets 10¢, the banks get 90¢, and Wallymart gets 3¢ (at 3% inflation)
The manufacturing is also a loop from the banks.
If you replace company store and company with "banks", you can see that there is nothing here except for work extraction for printed money, that just goes back to the banks. And most of that work is wasted time. But, we got to keep the peasants working, or they might think of revolting.

Think on this:
How is it possible to buy a shirt from China for $10 shipped to your house.
And, if you go buy a shirt at a store, and want to send it as a gift to your friend, it cost you MORE than $10 to ship the shirt.
How does China ship something, across the ocean and across the states (or EU) for less than you can? AND for less than the shirt costs you?
The maths do not work out because things are not priced in what they cost. They are priced in what you will pay. And that is determined by the banks controlling money.
The company always pays you less than what the company store charges you.
(Now, there are people who can see this pattern, and live even more frugally, and so can save money. And then invest that savings. Thus we get the "millionaire next door")
The company is always working on balancing things. They make sure that there is always not quite enough. (seriously, they pay farmers to not grown food) And they advertise the hell out of the middle class to keep them buying. The advertise the hell out of the lower class to keep them in an "i don't have enough" state.
When we wake up from this, we will live extremely fulfilling lives, working something like 5 hours a week (for necessities). Everyone will be a part time farmer. And your time will be filled with things you want to accomplish. (just take this as stated, because it is hard to explain all of the mental controls that fall apart, like social media dying… that leads to this)
And all that AI is doing right now is being the "boogyman" to blame the layoffs on. If they blamed it on inflation, the banksters would be seeing jail time.
