Your New, Better, Life Awaits You. Not In the City.
All the dystopian future depictions of cities have nothing on what the cities, especially blue cities, will look like.
The big difference will be that there will be no plucky young heroes trying to bring back "civilization". Civilization will be shown to NOT be in a city setting.
Civilization happens because the higher intelligence people drag the rest of the population forward. And, if you do not have enough intelligence any kind of technology just falls apart. And the first ones to leave a place that is falling to pieces is those with more capability, aka, those of higher intelligence. It is called Brain Drain.
And it is not just IQ, it is also an ability to control the lower urges. To avoid the seven deadly sins. A community that does not do its best to avoid the sins and embrace the virtues will destroy itself.
Many, of the more intelligent people are noticing that the sins are now being lauded, instead of condemned. And many are seeing that this trend is not reversing.
It is time to leave the big cities.
The dystopian city movies…
In the movies, there is always some plucky young hero who wants to bring civilization back. And the city is all gloomy. And everyone is oppressed. All the hero has to do is free the slaves. But this is completely wrong/false on so many levels.
A single person cannot revitalize a city gone to rot.
Basically a group of highly intelligent and virtuous people have to get together and start a new city on the ruins of the old one.
Slaves cannot start a new city. They do not have the resources not the intelligence to do it. No matter how good of a story it makes, there are rarely slave uprisings. The Isrealites had to follow Moses through the desert for 40 years. Basically until all the people who were slaves died, and the new generation that didn't know slavery was in charge.
Plato's allegory of the Cave is an excellent example of that happens when slaves are tried to be freed. In the allegory, the "hero" gets free and gets out of the cave and finds out the truth. Then he tries to go back into the cave and set his "friends" free. They try to kill him, shut him up.
Freeing slaves is dangerous. Just sayin.
When the intelligent / virtuous people leave
When they have left, everything collapses. So, notice when they leave. And follow soon.
The people that read the writing on the wall, are usually able to get out while their "illiterate" friends do not.
The Pareto Principals says that 80% of the production comes from 20% of the workers. When that top 20% leave (or are murdered) the 80% of the people left starve. And, this has been shown over and over. It really isn't that Communism that causes starvation, it is that the new people in charge get rid of any competition. Other intelligent people. And, downstream from that is that production drops. Starvation is inevitable.
There is basically, a few (often) old guys who know how to keep everything running. And when these people leave, or are forced into retirement, there is no one to keep things running. and NO ONE to repair it. And really, really, no one to put it all back together and start it again.
There are electrical transformers in Los Angles that were so large that they were cast in place. There is no one alive that knows how they did that. There are few alive that know how to wrap them If they get fried from too much current being run through them, or sabotage, there is no one to repair them. Especially if the young gang members kill off all the old people. When LA goes dark, there is a very good chance that it will never be lit again.
This is the down stream events from the causes happening right now.
The stores are going away
The entrepreneur, especially the mom & pop, are very rare breed of person. It is not that hard to start a store, but few think about doing it. And now, in New York City, San Francisco, and places like that, stores are closing. They cannot continue to exist being continuously robbed. Especially when there isn't a core of virtuous people who want to keep lawlessness to a minimum.
The intelligent people are leaving. Closing up shop and getting out of Dodge.
Of course, the people who were looting, are complaining how there isn't a store in their neighborhood anymore.
When you see the stores closing, it is time to get out of that city. The weird thing is people want to stay because of the convenience of all the stores close by. And that is sorta normal, except that the stores are disappearing. You need to update your brain pathways. This is not a put-down. It is just that until you clear it all, your brain is running on old information. The pathway is formed. You have to manually change it.
Look at the writing on the wall. It says that food shortages are coming.
Many people are putting out videos about other races/other nationalities. But that really isn't it. It is the low intelligence / low virtuous group that overwhelms the high intelligent / high virtuous people. If there isn't enough people to undo the destruction, then the city falls apart.
Of course, this is not nice to say, but it is the truth. But is nice, or grocery stores more important?
Without enough high intelligent / high virtuous people to continually repair the destruction, then you are left with that horrifying, binary choice.
Lastly i will say that the future living arrangements is tribes/"families"/small communities. The cities are (most likely) doomed. They are falling apart. They are not being repaired. The intelligent people are gone, and are not coming back. Especially when they find the joy of living together with a group that shares their ideals.
