🇮🇹

🇬🇧
I'm telling you loud and clear.
There is no possibility of early elections...before April 14, 2027.
This despite the worst government in the history of the Republic, a prime minister who's been mocked by the entire world, elections that see him succumb thanks to snipers, and everything else.
We won't go to the polls before that date not only because of the wickedness of this government and the bullshit of the opposition, real or imagined.

It's a question of vile money.
If we were to go to the polls before April 14, 2027, many parliamentarians in their first term, both parties, would lose their pensions.
We're talking about 265 out of 605 parliamentarians, 43.8%.
From all parties.
Let's be clear, without being arseholes. What would you do in their place?

Marco Rizzo told me that the pension for a former MEP was €4,000 a month. I don't know how much that is for an Italian MEP, but it should be at least around €2,500 a month.
Those who have accumulated years under the old legislatures and old laws can earn up to €10,000 a month.

While we toil until we're 67, if all goes well, they'll receive their pension after four years, six months, and a day...they retire.
Apparently, they start receiving it at age 65, but then there are scams and taxes that allow them to receive their pension early.
It's paid one year earlier for each additional year of office served beyond the first, up to the age limit of 60.
You understand, they ask us for 40 years or more of contributions, while they're fine with four and a half years.

Sort:

Una vera vergogna. Ci prendono in giro e ci ridono in faccia.
