La vicenda di Pirlo e della nazionale italiana e' sintomatica sul come sia ridotto questo paese, senza vie di uscita.
Intanto la designazione di Malago' a capo della federcalcio e' sinonimo di continuita' di gestione paramafiosa del nostro sport.
Malago' aveva in testa di riportare Mancini in nazionale (e c'e' riuscito), poi avendo designato Maldini e Leonardo nei ruoli tecnici aveva avallato l'ipotesi Guardiola poi tramontanta.

Pirlo era una idea del duo mai piaciuta al presidente, per ragioni se vogliamo anche comprensibili.
Il curriculum da allenatore di Pirlo non e' dei peggiori, 2 titoli vinti con la Juventus, un buon campionato in Turchia con una squadretta portata al settimo posto, un discreto palyoff in B son la Sampdoria e la promozione in prima divisione negli emirati della sua squadra.
Nulla di trascendentale ma accettabile.
Il problema e' che e' saltato fuori che Pirlo e' stato testimonial di una agenzia di scommesse russa...apriti cielo.

E' stato fatto fuori non per capacita' o incapacita' professionale ma per aver accettato un lavoro, suppongo ben retribuito, dai russi.
Se era una agenzia israeliana non ci sarebbero stati problema, ma russa...giammai.
Ora Maldini e Leonardo hanno sfanculato tutti, l'esordio di Malago' alla testa della federcalcio si e' trasformato nell'ennesima barzelleta di questa barzelletta di paese.
Povera patria cantava Battiato.

Meanwhile, Malago's appointment as head of the Italian Football Federation is synonymous with the continuation of the mafia-like management of our sport.
Malago' had in mind bringing Mancini back to the national team (and succeeded), then, having appointed Maldini and Leonardo to the coaching roles, he endorsed the Guardiola option, which then faded.

Pirlo was one of the duo's ideas that the president never liked, for understandable reasons.
Pirlo's coaching resume isn't the worst: two titles won with Juventus, a good championship in Turkey with a small team led to seventh place, a decent playoff in Serie B with Sampdoria, and his team's promotion to the first division in the Emirates.
Nothing transcendental, but acceptable.
The problem is that it turned out that Pirlo was a spokesperson for a Russian betting agency...all hell broke loose.

He was ousted not for professional ability or inability but for accepting a job, presumably well-paid, from the Russians.
If it were an Israeli agency, there would have been no problem, but a Russian one...never.
Now Maldini and Leonardo have sent everyone packing, and Malago's debut as head of the Football Federation has turned into yet another joke in this local joke.
