Berkshire Hathaway, la società di investimento fondata da Warren Buffett, è tornata a comprare più azioni di quante ne abbia vendute.
E lo ha fatto dopo 14 trimestri consecutivi, circa 42 mesi, che Berkshire vendeva più azioni di quante ne acquistasse.
Insomma, per oltre tre anni hanno seguito una strategia molto prudente.
Tanta liquidità ferma e poche occasioni ritenute abbastanza interessanti da giustificare un investimento.
Vi chiederete cosa c'entra con Bitcoin e crypto?
C'entra il sentiment.
E in finanza, anche un piccolo cambiamento nel comportamento dei grandi investitori può diventare un segnale interessante da osservare.
Comunque, nel secondo trimestre Berkshire avrebbe ridotto la propria liquidità di circa 20,5 miliardi di dollari tornando ad acquistare sul mercato, pur mantenendo oltre 370 miliardi di dollari cash. (Rif.)
Cifre difficili persino da immaginare. 😅
Secondo alcune indiscrezioni, Berkshire potrebbe aver investito circa 10 miliardi di dollari in Google, nell'ambito di un'operazione legata agli investimenti nell'intelligenza artificiale.
Ma per ora è meglio usare il condizionale.
I dettagli degli investimenti saranno disponibili con i prossimi filing alla SEC. Solo allora potremo capire esattamente cosa ha comprato e cosa ha venduto Berkshire.
Adesso, non significa che Warren Buffett sia diventato improvvisamente bullish!
Ma dopo 42 mesi di vendite nette, qualcosa nel comportamento di Berkshire è cambiato.
E un cambiamento, anche piccolo, da parte di uno dei più grandi investitori al mondo, secondo me vale la pena osservarlo.
Certo, potrebbe essere semplicemente un episodio isolato oppure... il primo segnale di un cambiamento più importante? 🤔

Berkshire Hathaway, the investment company founded by Warren Buffett, has started buying more stocks than it has been selling.
And it happened after 14 consecutive quarters, around 42 months, during which Berkshire was selling more stocks than it was buying.
In other words, for more than three years, they followed a very cautious strategy.
A lot of cash sitting on the sidelines, and very few opportunities considered attractive enough to justify an investment.
You may be wondering: what does this have to do with Bitcoin and crypto?
It has to do with sentiment.
And in finance, even a small change in the behavior of major investors can become an interesting signal to watch.
In the second quarter, Berkshire reportedly reduced its cash position by around $20.5 billion, returning to net buying in the market, while still holding more than $370 billion in cash. (Ref.)
Numbers that are hard to even imagine. 😅
According to some reports, Berkshire may have invested around $10 billion in Google, as part of a deal related to artificial intelligence investments.
But for now, it's better to keep that in the conditional.
The details of the investments will be available in the upcoming SEC filings. Only then will we know exactly what Berkshire bought and sold.
Now, this doesn't necessarily mean Warren Buffett has suddenly become bullish!
But after 42 months of net selling, something has changed in Berkshire's behavior.
And a change, even a small one, from one of the world's largest investors is, in my opinion, worth watching.
It could simply be an isolated event... or the first sign of a bigger change? 🤔
