The Diary Game: [25/07/2026] Taking Care Of My Bananas/Busy Day

Hi family welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly @fxbryt, and in this episode I will be sharing with you how I helped my mom to prepare her banana to accelerate the ripening and on the other hand educate you on why you should always eat some bananas while outlining some of its health benefits.

As someone who stays with my mom that is into banana business I totally understand the need to accelerate banana ripening. Bananas ripen faster due to ethylene gas, which acts as a natural ripening hormone. As banana mature, they produce and release this gas and trapping the gas and applying heat will accelerate the starch-to-sugar conversion thereby softening the fruit and turning the peel yellow.

Now one of the most popular, easy but yet effective means of applying heat is by sprinkling water on the bananas then covering it with several layers of thick materials that can help keep it warm that was exactly how I did it.

Ever wondered what goodness is in a banana other than being rich in vitamin B6, bananas are good source of vitamin C, dietary fiber and manganese. Manganese in bananas is good for your skin just one medium sized banana provides approximately 13% of your daily manganese needs because it's necessary to protect your skin and other cells against free radical damage. Not only that bananas can aid digestion and help beat gastrointestinal issues, a medium banana will provide about 10 - 12% of your daily fibre needs, as you can see there is a lot of benefits but few to mention.

As the day go by and after doing other couple of things , I became hungry so i thought I should go check out some of the already ripened bananas to eat then I picked few and also bought groundnuts to complement it of course we can't mention banana without groundnuts 😂.

So that was pretty much how my day went and I enjoyed it . I also did some laundry, washed my bed sheets I don't know if it's only me that likes sleeping on a clean bed sheets it's hard to wash but it always Worth it at the end. I love you all I love steemit and I will see you on the next episode
