"SC-S31/W2-Movie Magic |Movies that redefines Success (Aburo)
Aburo is the title of the movie that I watched. His real name in the movie is Waheed. He was a young, smart boy who was a pickpocket in the ghetto area. He stole from Mide, a failed athlete in the United States. After stealing from Mide, he gained the ability to run faster, to the extent that Mide got ankle injured in that process. As a result, Mide was not able to outsmart him.
Later on, Mide saw Aburo at an event when Edak organized a medical outreach to the general public. He recognized Aburo in that process, where he also used his speed to outsmart him.

When Rofi was sick and taken to the hospital
As a failed athlete, Mide discovered that Aburo had great potential in his speed, so he could serve as a mentor to guide him to the right path. He discussed this with Edak, his longtime partner. This happened at the time when his young sister died of sickle cell. In fact, he loved his younger sister and made a promise before she died that he would take her to America to continue his studies. Later, Aburo agreed when Mide began to train him for the forthcoming competition.

When Pierre discussed about race with mide
At the end of the day, Aburo became a successful athlete, and he was one of those accepted into the sprinting academy in America. This movie is not about fame or wealth, but about success that brought him out of poverty. His aunt, who took care of him, and his young sister were happy to hear that.
How did the movie define success?
It defines success when the media try to convince him because he discovered he has great potential due to his speed. Aburo, at the same time, listened to the advice and took everything possible to ensure that he would win the competition. Despite the fact that his young sister died, he did not relent from that.
This movie demonstrates the success of Aburo because he focused on one talent instead of multiple, and that is why he was given the determination to achieve his goal successfully. The environment in that case played a great role because it influenced the success of a young boy. The transformation of a young boy through mentorship also helped him to achieve greatness in life.

Which character had a life you admired most?

When mide discussed about his past with Edak
The main character in the movie is Aburo, whose performance is so brilliant that it puts his efforts in ensuring that the movie is top-notch in the eyes of the viewers. The athletic potential he has through the mentorship of Mide helps him believe that success begins with one step, and the love he has for his young sister, now known as Rofi, is exceptional because he had the emotional feeling and the bond created among them is authentic to the point that Rofi advised him not to engage in illicit activities.
Aburo played a good role by engaging in a side hustle business in order to earn money to take care of her sister, who was sick. This shows how mutual relationship exists between them.
What lesson about success did you take away?

When he heard the conversation his father opponent told him
• The movie lets us know that a person with the worst character can be a great person in life, as shown in the case of Aburo.
• We must have a person as our role model so that they can guide us not to go astray because such individual would turn our direction into achievement.
• I also learned that failure is not the end of life; in fact, it's a road that needs to be successful, and success depends on staying away from negative influences in order to achieve our targets.
• The movie works against being a thief instead to adopt long-term goals that help shape our potential future.
