Today was a very bad day for us. The 65 HP motor of our deep tube well for irrigation broke down while we were doing irrigation work. We are financially affected today and our farming work is hampered.
I wake up in the morning and go for a walk towards the pond. This morning too, a net was cast from the pond to sell fry and many fry traders are coming who will take the fish fry from here and deliver it to the fish farmers or those who cultivate the fish in their ponds for consumption. The fry traders are taking the fish for cash.
Today we will be irrigating and fertilizing the corn field next to our house. My brother and the worker went to the field with the pipes and other equipment, I also went to see the pipes being laid before starting the motor. If everything was in order, I started the motor.
We had been irrigating for about 20 minutes, and in the meantime, the motor stopped with a loud noise. I quickly went to the motor and saw that the meter and motor wires were completely disconnected. A local eyewitness said that the connection cable of the external energy meter had caught fire. We were upset and our work stopped today due to this. I informed my brothers in the corn field that its cable had completely disconnected.
My brother called the mechanic and he said it would take more than an hour for him to come. We all went home. My uncles are going to plant rice in their potato land so they are fertilizing that land with cow dung. When I got home, I installed a fan in my room and after installing it, I saw that it would take some cable so I brought some cable and connected the fan. It is currently hot during the day and cold at night.
When the mechanic came in the afternoon, I took the key and went to the motor room and showed it to the mechanic. The mechanic connected the new cable from the meter to the prepaid meter inside the house but since there was no electricity, we did not start the motor, the mechanic said that if the cables were connected upside down, the motor would turn upside down. He waited for a long time but there was no electricity. He left.
When the electricity came in the afternoon, I went to test it but the motor did not start. Although there was 3-phase current in the prepaid meter, the motor did not start. When I called the mechanic again, he came quickly and tried to start the motor himself but it did not work. When I loaded the card into the prepaid meter, the motor did not start. He disconnected the motor cable and checked it with a meter and found that the motor had burned out. There was no signal from the motor on the meter. This motor is installed 60 feet deep. Now we need to lift it and fix the motor and set it up again. After that, we will start the irrigation work.
I came home and saw my uncle's potato truck loading next to the house today. The potatoes that were picked up two days ago are being taken to the truck today. After the truck left, I saw a hawker coming next to my house in the afternoon. He is selling medicine to cure diseases of ducks and chickens. From there, I went to another potato field of ours. Although his work today was in the corn field, since the motor was broken, he is now removing the trees that were pulled by the humus pooling in the potato field. I observed the almond field next to the potato field and returned home. I am ending today's story, may Allah have mercy on him.
