Better Life with Steem || The whole day passed by helping with the AC installation work || 09/04/2026🌞

First of all, I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings and love to all the respected members of the community and everyone on this platform. I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy.Today was a bit different and quite a busy day for me. With the hot days approaching, I started the process of installing an air conditioner in my room as part of my preparation for the summer. I had been thinking about it for a long time, and today that plan finally started to become a reality.At the very beginning, we faced a major problem. Although there was a general electricity line in our house, there was no separate line for the AC. So, the technicians began working on setting up a new line from outside.

It was not an easy task at all carefully running the wires along the outer wall and properly setting everything required a lot of effort. As I stood there watching, I realized how much hard work goes into something as simple as using an air conditioner. These workers silently take risks and work hard just to bring smiles to their families.After that, the main installation work began. We decided to install a 1.5-ton air conditioner from Singer. When the outdoor unit was unpacked, it was clear that installing it would not be easy at all. The outdoor unit itself weighed about 24.5 kg.

The most difficult and risky part was setting up the outdoorr unit. Since our house is a two-story building, the workers had to hang using ropes to complete the installation. As seen in the pictures, they were hanging outside the wall, using drilling machines and fixing the pipes while risking their lives. Watching this made me feel deeply concerned and at the same time increased my respect for them. They work incredibly hard to support their families.I could not just stand there and watch. I tried to help as much as I could sometimes holding the rope, sometimes handing over tools, and sometimes helping with the pipes. I believe these small efforts made their work a little easier.Today’s experience taught me something valuable. The things we use so easily in our daily lives often involve a lot of hard work behind the scenes. Especially those who do such risky jobs truly deserve our respect.

After completing the installation of the outdoor unit, we moved inside the room to install the indoor AC unit. They carefully leveled and properly set up the Singer air conditioner with great attention. After completing the installation, my room now looks like this. After finishing all the installation work, we offered lunch to the AC technicians. At first, they were not willing to eat, as the company usually covers their expenses, but we insisted and served them lunch. In addition, we gave them a tip of 500 taka so that they could feel happy and appreciated.I also had my meal with them. After that, I freshened up and enjoyed a nice, relaxing nap while feeling the cool air from the AC. After waking up and getting refreshed, I had some work to do, so I went to our Bamundi bus stand.

For work purposes, I needed to photocopy some important documents today. With that in mind, I went to the shop of my acquaintance and relative, Sohag Bhai. Upon arriving, he warmly welcomed me and kindly offered me a seat inside his shop. Not only that, he also served me a cup of hot tea, which truly reflected his genuine hospitality.While enjoying the tea, we spent some time chatting and catching up. It had been a while since we had such a relaxed conversation, so the time passed quite pleasantly. After that, I focused on my main task and completed photocopying the necessary documents.During this time, I also took a picture, which I have saved to share with you all on this platform.
