The Diary Game [April 8th, 2026] : Moments spent by students competing in madrasas
Dear friends, I hope you are all well. I am also, Alhamdulillah, doing very well by the mercy of Allah. As usual, after getting up from sleep today, I experienced the morning a little differently. Every day I had classes in the morning, but the day passed a little differently because today there is a competition at our madrasa. The morning of that competition passed, and it is now afternoon.
The picture you can see above, by looking at this picture, you will understand the moments that I am actually sharing with you today. The moment when I went to the competition program and saw a student sitting on the competition seat and reciting the Quran. It was really a very joyful and beautiful moment for the students and for us.
We were sitting there and later saw that there were different seating arrangements for guests and for the judges, and seating arrangements were provided for the students. Here, students were called based on different groups and sat in front, called one by one. The students enjoyed some beautiful moments while sitting, and they were seated in the same frame, in the same system.
The people you see here are hijra students, meaning they have memorized the Quran, and this group of students is present here. All these students are perfect for Quran recitation, and they are A-plus quality students. Anyway, we were sitting here, but I was specifically here as a guest. Because yesterday, in my diary, I noted that those who read would go; I fulfilled my responsibility yesterday as a major.
Today, I am here as a guest because those who will compete today are mainly my students. Since our students are my students, I cannot verify myself but rather have to verify for others. For them, I am performing my duty not so much as an examiner but as a guest. We were mainly three people who were responsible as Abdur Rahman; here is a photo of them.
I was sitting here and watching how each student was taking the exam, how much knowledge each student had acquired, and how much preparation each student had done for the competition, because all the students were ours. There are about 10 teachers in our department who teach in this position, and all of them were serving as guests, because the students were theirs. So they were acting as judges. Teachers from other departments were also judges. Therefore, this program was carried out in a very organized manner.
In this way, I spent some time and then went downstairs, that is, to the lower floor of the building. Our group had 6 groups, there were 3 groups upstairs, and 3 groups downstairs. There too, there were different guests and different judges. So the program was carried out beautifully. And I went there to see how everyone was actually carrying out their responsibilities, and how the students were reciting.
I enjoyed such a beautiful moment. Sometimes I would wander around, and sometimes I would blend in and observe the environment. Although there were small responsibilities since I am one of the senior teachers here, it was important to oversee all of them. Anyway, in this way, sometimes I went upstairs, sometimes I took a seat downstairs, but there was no place to sit below, so I mostly sat upstairs during the main program and spent these moments like that.
Zakaria and Billa were with me, and we were a few people responsible for the guests. Occasionally, we also observed the duties of the judges and the students. I tried to observe the students' presence in a comprehensive way and made efforts to implement the program properly and orderly. At the same time, while we were present there, we took a selfie while performing our duties as guests.
The most important thing about my writing and posting this was from noon until the afternoon. And this is when I felt the most, enjoyed the moment the most, and the time passed like this until Asr prayer. After finishing the prayer, without any delay, I spent the rest of my day just like before. There were some moments of my whole day that I felt happy to share with you. Everyone stay well, stay healthy, Allah Hafiz.
Thank You Everyone For My Post Reading
