I woke up early in the morning, offered the Fajr prayer, and after reciting the Holy Quran, I got busy preparing for the wedding. To prepare for the wedding, I ironed my clothes, took a bath, used a toothbrush, and dressed in my cotton clothes, and got ready to attend the wedding.

When my family and I were all dressed up and ready, we reached the groom's house because we had to go to the bride's house with the groom's family with a procession. When we reached there, all the vehicles were there: a bus, a tractor, a trolley, five to six cars, and about 20 to 25 motorcycles. We also had two motorcycles on which our guests and my brother had to take his children on one motorcycle. So I had to sit on the bus because I had to tell the bus driver the way to the bride's family, so I sat with the driver and told him the way.

I had taken the bus from Shorkot City and on the way out of Shorkot City, I had taken the bus driver along the road that passes between Degree College and Chenab College on Cantt Road. When we reached the bride's house, the groom's car and some motorcycles had already reached there. We also reached there and parked the car and asked all the passengers to get down from the car. Everyone was getting down from the car and heading towards the wedding house. The groom's car was parked in front of our bus. When we reached there, the dolwala also all gathered there and started playing the drums. All the party was following the groom and two to three people were getting along with the dolwala. In the same way, we slowly reached the bride's house.
As soon as we reached there, they gave us cold and sweet water to drink because the plain water there was a bit bad and so they had made sweet water so that people would not have any problems, so they gave all the guests cold and sweet water to drink and everyone went to sit in the venue. Tables and chairs were set up. Everyone sat there. So we also sat on one side where there was some wind. The heat was very high and the wind was also blowing moderately, but the sweat was not drying. We sat there for some time, chatting with friends and drinking water etc.

Then the groom also reached the stage, accompanied by his father and one or two other people. While they were sitting on the stage, they were first given a seven-up bottle. After giving the bottle, they were allowed to sit for a while. After some time, the cleric and three to four witnesses who were to testify on behalf of the bride and groom also sat on the stage and the cleric started reciting the Nikah to the groom. As the cleric recited, the groom also recited it. Finally, the groom recited the Nikah and then two or three people went to the bride's room with books etc. The Nikah was also recited to the bride. When the Nikah was recited, the signatures of all the witnesses and their ID card numbers were written down. In this way, the Nikah ritual was completed.

When the marriage ceremony was completed, the food etc. were served. There were 15-20 waiters who were serving the food. They first placed the rotis on the tables and then started placing the curry. After some time, they brought it to our tables. We also started eating the food. The food consisted of rotis and chicken. The chicken was cooked very tasty. We ate our fill. After eating the food, we went out of the venue. When we came out, the groom was taking salami. He also met me and asked for salami. I gave him 500 salami but he rejected it. He was asking me for 5000 but I agreed to 1500. After the salami, I gave him 1500 nionda.
When the salami and nionda were given, the tables and chairs had to be vacated and there was no place to sit because they had to seat the women on the tables and feed them. So they vacated the tables and chairs. Instead of staying there, we decided to go home. So I asked my brother to drop us home. My younger brother Muhammad Kashif got on a motorcycle to drop me and Abu home. I rode the motorcycle and the three of us left from there. There was such a hot wind on the way and our eyes were also burning. We reached home with great difficulty in this heat wave. After reaching home, we rested.

After resting, we got up and started to feed the animals. We started to mix the feed. To mix the feed, my brother, my sister-in-law and I took care of all the work that we had to do while doing the toka. I moved the toka back, my brother put the millet in the throat and my sister-in-law poured water into the pot. In this way, we mixed the toka for the animals and fed it to the animals, and the animals started eating the feed and toka.

After the animals were fed, they were given water. While they were being fed, the buffaloes that were there were bathed and then it was time for Maghrib. The Maghrib call to prayer was coming. I performed ablution and offered Maghrib prayer. And then went home to eat dinner.
