THE DAIRY GAME : 19 JULY 2026_: How i found an adorable little bird

Let me walk you through how i found it

So today after doing all my chores, i went to the kitchen to fix myself breakfast upon reaching there i found this cute looking creature. It had entered through the window. I managed to to get hold of it and took this beautiful pictures.
Immediately after i took the third shot, it wringled and flew away. I was extremely happy that i was able to get hold of it and gave it a nice shot.
It's really fascinating, and i was super excited.🙂

I searched online and i found a little about the cute bird:
The bird is a male African Firefinch (Lagonosticta rubricata), a species commonly found in northern Nigeria, including Kaduna.

They are often seen in:

1. Farmlands
2. Bushes and scrubland
   3.Gardens
3. Woodland edges
4. Trees
   The bright red plumage is characteristic of the adult male. Females are much duller, mostly brown with only a little red.

Growing up i found myself having a great likeness fo birds.
We relocated to a new house during my teen age. Days after settling in i was greatly marveled at the of great number of birds perching on almost almost all the trees within the compound.
Morning and evening time was the best to look out for if i want to catch a sight of them.
