Realistic Ways to Start Making Money Online (Even If You’re Starting From Zero)
Hello Steemit family
After introducing myself in post one, I gave myself some time to think about what else I might be able to add that may be of help to those new to the world of investing, or those who feel they are stuck with their finances.
Because if I’m being honest… I’ve “been there too”.
Its always hard to start from zero. It can be incomprehensible, overwhelming, and at times disheartening.” The amount of information encountered can be incomprehensible, overwhelming, and at times demoralizing.
The only questions you have for yourself are; Where should I even start? What actually works?
So rather than overcomplicating the issue, I want to share with you a few simple and far realistic ways that every newbie can start to make money online.
These are not “get rich quick” ideas.
They require effort, patience as well as consistency.
But they work.
One of the easiest ways to get started with online gigs is freelancing.
You don’t need to be an expert to start off. In fact, there are many people earn with abysmally basic skills such as;
Writing, Typing, Graphic designing and simple Data entry
There are lots of popular job seeking platforms like Fiverr and Upwork but here is the unspoken truth about them:
You do not have to be perfect to begin, you just have to begin.
Your first job might pay very little, and that’s ok. What is important is the experience, confidence, and the first review that one gains.
Start with small things. Build on that as you go along.
That’s how expansion takes place.
And honestly, that’s one of the main reasons why I joined this platform.
Content creation is something that gives you an empowering voice.
And over time, that voice can translate to income.
You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to buy expensive equipment. You don’t need to impress everyone.
All you have to do is be yourself and be consistent.
Write about;
Your own Experience What you are learning Your struggles and success Your journey;
People don’t connect to perfection, they connect to imperfection.
Even this post that you’re reading now is another step on my journey.
This is something I didn’t understand at first but once it clicked it made sense.
This is the way it works:
You recommend a product or service with a special link. This earns you a commission.
Simple.
But the most important thing is this:
Above all, trust is what counts.
If you promote everything just for money, people will not listen to you. But if you recommend things you believe in, the people will trust your opinion.
And trust delivers results.
First, start with choosing products you already use or understand.
If a person is willing to invest his or her time in learning something that is of value, then it massively increase the potential earnings of that person.
The good news?
There is no need to buy expensive courses.
There’s no shortage of free resources for those who have the discipline to learn: YouTube videos, blogs, online forums.
Some of the skills that are beginners friendly include;
Social media management. Basics of video editing. Copywriting Canva designing.
Focus on one skill at a time.
Focus on one skill at a time.
And most importantly — practice.
Because skill + consistency = opportunity.
I decided call this one a “method” because it is the most important one, in practice.
Most people do something or the other…
And then stop.
Not because it doesn’t work — but because you don’t get results immediately.
We live in a world where everyone wants things done now and fast, but truth be told;
Most working things do not happen overnight.
Consistency is what separates those that succeed in life from those that fall and give up – this is what I have experienced first hand.
Even if you think you’re doing only a little every day — it adds up.
One post. One skill studied. One application submitted.
The pieces fit together… each day you are moving closer.
I'm still on this journey with you.
I'm not saying I have it all down, but I've got this figured out:
If you pursue it tirelessly, continually push yourself and learn new skills and do not give up, you will find success. Finding that success changes your whole world.
If you also start from zero, just keep this in mind:
You’re not alone;
I don’t think anyone has the right answers for this life thing, we all just work it out as we go.
I want to hear your feedback: Have you attempted to make money online? What were your successes and/or failures?
Our goal is to learn from and help each other achieve personal and mutual growth.
Thanks for reading for so long really appreciate it.
Cheers,
Christopher.
