Achievement- 1: My introduction to Steemit

Hello everyone, my name is @dpsalmist247 Samuel and I am happy to be a part of the Steemit community. I was introduced to this community by the Mayor of Micro-blogging and it's been an interesting ride. Below is a picture of me with a welcome mugshot as a newbie into the community.

I am the 3rd among 5 siblings. Two ladies and two gentlemen. Two of my siblings are married with beautiful kids- I have a good number of cute nieces and one handsome nephew. My parents are now an elderly couple and they stay at our home town in the southern part of Nigeria while we've remained in the north where we grew up.

I love reading, singing, meeting new people and making impact in the lives of others. I am a stickler for personal development which is one of the reasons why I decided to learn Micro-blogging while earning something by the side. It is also interesting to know one can also use steemit like diary sessions. Watch this space for motivation, encouraging words and inspiring engagements as we go on a thrilling tour.

I am a graduate of Engineering from the University of Maiduguri currently running an MSc program . I also have a postgraduate diploma in Education which helped me properly stay at my first job for a few years. Besides the above mentioned, I do a lot of certifications alongside to prepare for opportunities. Below is a picture I took after submitting my last MSc coursework exam paper

As earlier mentioned I taught for a few years before getting into the food and beverage industry as a process Technician with a service providing organisation contracted by major players in that sector. That experience took me through Guinness Nigeria, Nigerian breweries and Coca-cola. Although I'm now transitioning into an entirely new sector, the experience from those sectors have really helped my career. Below is a picture of me at work
