Farewell Ceremony

1-What recent social and/or cultural events have taken place in your community?

I have several cultural programs held here. But today the cultural program that I will discuss in detail with you was held in our college. A few days ago, a cultural program was organized in our college. This is basically the farewell ceremony for the current HSC examinees. This program was organized where teachers and students were present and their good wishes for the future and some discussions were held about the upcoming exams in their lives. Everyone gave their speeches.

2-What cultural initiatives are being promoted by community or government organizations in your area for the coming months?

I can't really say in advance what kind of events will be organized by social or government organizations next month. Because the social and cultural events that we have here are not planned a month in advance. That's why it's impossible to say in advance when an event will be held, but preparations start a week before the event starts and everyone is informed about the event from then on. Everyone prepares for it and everyone enjoys the event together on that day and has a great and wonderful time. However, it's impossible to say a month in advance what kind of events social and cultural government organizations may have a month later.

3-What challenges are cultural event organizers currently facing in keeping local traditions alive?

The organizers have played an important role in organizing this event. There are many things to keep in mind, especially when organizing an event. Since there will be many guests and students in this event, the surrounding environment and everything has to be arranged beautifully. Therefore, the organizers have paid special attention to the table, chairs and decorations and made beautiful arrangements for everyone to sit. Educational materials have been distributed and diaries have been distributed to the guests who came. In this way, this cultural event has been organized very beautifully. In light of this question, I would like to say that the organizers have faced many problems in organizing this event beautifully. Since it has become very difficult to do all the work in our country at present, many problems have been faced in everything from the beginning of organizing the event to arranging and distributing the tabarak and by solving them, this event has been successfully completed.

4-What social or grassroots movements are gaining prominence in the streets of your city or region?

No movement or party has gained ground in our upazila and especially the event about which I am sharing detailed information with you, I have said earlier that it is a farewell function where the students are being felicitated and a big function has been organized around this function where some important guests were present and they gave speeches and also some college students. Educational materials have been distributed among the students and diaries among the guests, so there is no question of any grassroots movement gaining dominance here as it was not such a function.

5-Could you mention any recent artistic works or projects in your region that might be of public interest?

In light of this question, I would like to say that if the artworks in our region are put on the board, especially the handiwork and handmade items, and if the traditional works of the village are displayed and organized at a specific place in our upazila, I think it will be very beneficial for the people. Through this, people will be able to see the lost culture and traditional things and can collect their daily necessities from here. Since there are many important traditional things in Bangladesh that are currently lost, I think that if some artworks are put on the board through such events, it will be very beneficial for the general public and they will pay a lot more and to see and buy such artworks.
