Pirate World Boss Quest (Turn 2): Finish off the Man 'o War! (+ new test rule)
Objective: HMS Boaty McCannonmonger be dead in the water. Finish her off!
Betwixt the incapacitation of Captain Smith (via a massive wedgie), and the loss much of her crew and sails, HMS Boaty McCannonmonger’s remainin’ crew will need time to re-man positions, pump water from the hull, and try to patch up the damage to even get the gargantuan vessel movin’ again, let alone fight.
As fer now, the boss is completely dead in the water, cannot attack, and runnin’ on nothin’ but the misplaced morale of the limey sailors left aboard.
This be the perfect time fer boardin’ parties and swashbucklin’, but how ye want to tackle this issue is y’er prerogative. Just be mindful of y’er allies! Hopefully ye scurvy dogs can finish off this threat once and fer all. I already hear there be multiple claims to the actual vessel as well. That’ll be fun ta watch.
HOW TO PLAY IN 3 EASY STEPS
- Make a post and describe y’er action fer the turn (e.g., attack, tactics, etc). Post it in the Pirate World community page by either using “hive-197918” AS Y’ER FIRST TAG! or at (https://beta.steemit.com/created/hive-197918).
- One action per player (per turn). The post doesn’t have ta be long, just say what y’er doin’ and tag to roll the @piratedice.
- This turn will last 3 days.
*SIDENOTES
- Posts not using the right hive tag may be missed or disregarrrd’d. Tag @reverendrum fer backup visibility.
- Use the “pirateworld” tag as well for backup.
- Newcomers always be welcome! Ye need not have parrrticipated before to join in the fray.

QUEST LOG</3>
- The crew of Royal Fortune climb aboard the Man o' War but alert a lookout. Cap'n @drlobes had yet ta determine how to handle the situation.
- Iron Storm's sirens to try and befriend HMS Boaty McCannonmonger's Captain Smith to hand over command of his ship to Cap'n @the.partisan.spy, but do too good of a job. Captain Smith lunges into The Deep and drowns, failin' to ever reach the sirens' alluring song.
Looks like there be many preemptive claims to the huge ship. This might get interestin' later...
Turn 2 is now over. All further actions, either by post or comment will be lost to Davy Jones' Locker.
I'll need a day or two to figure things out.
(Pirate logistics be arrrduous, as ye all know by now.)
With all me men lurking in the water, I give the ready sin to attack all at the same time. Still kepping the noise down, only the sound of metal hooks graping onto the side of the boat can be heard then we use the rope laders to board. Lets see what we find at the top @piratedice

Y'er boardin' hooks connect successfully to the massive boat and y'er men climb aboard. A passin' lookout barely misses y'er party as they climb onboard.
Sailor Pete's peg leg slams on the deck as he hops on board. The lookout hears the "CLOP" sound and turns around, shocked to see y'er entire crew. He turns to run and alert the crew.

Y'er sirens enchant the captain, but not in the way ye expected. Instead of willin'ly offerin' up his ship, Captain Smithm enchanted by the sirens' alluring song, dives overboard and drowns.
Fair enough @reverendrum, I rolled a # instead of a @.
If I had rolled correctly and got a 9, that ship would have been mine! :)
Who says it can't be y'ers? As far as I can see, ye also laid claim to the magnificent vessel (amongst a few others). We'll figure that out later.
In the meantime, ye killed the limey captain, the crew morale is basically gone.
