Hidden Depths, Hidden Data: The Divine Truth of the Quran
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Assalamu-Alaikum-wa-Rahmatullahi- wa-Barakatuh!
As we explore the depths of reality from the depths of the Mariana Trench to the Global Data Networks, we continually reveal new layers of reality; therefore, discovering new parts of reality through human exploration, which does not detract from God's (the Divine) but instead further reveals the intricacies of His Creation.
In the Quran, God encourages us to see through the deeper layers of creation that we may not normally see:
(Qur'an making an example with the darkness of ocean )
“Or are like the layers of darkness in a deep ocean, covered by wave after wave of water, over which are clouds, darkness upon darkness........”
—Surah An-Nur (24:40)
Modern day oceanography (and the use of advanced sensors) has validated many of these layers of darkness. While Science helps to provide the structural mechanics for what we see, Revelation helps us to provide context for what we see.

أَوۡ كَظُلُمَٰتٍ فِى بَحۡرٍ لُّجِّىٍّ يَغۡشَىٰهُ مَوۡجٌ مِّن فَوۡقِهِۦ مَوۡجٌ مِّن فَوۡقِهِۦ سَحَابٌۚ ظُلُمَٰتٌۢ بَعۡضُهَا فَوۡقَ بَعۡضٍ إِذَآ أَخۡرَجَ يَدَهُۥ لَمۡ يَكَدۡ يَرَىٰهَاۗ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَجۡعَلِ ٱللَّهُ لَهُۥ نُورًا فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن نُّورٍ
