Regarding the service itself,

European industry faces a growing challenge due to an aging population. Studies indicate a significant reduction in the workforce over the coming decades, particularly in industrial nations like Germany. At the same time, many companies still view traditional automation as slow, expensive, and difficult to adapt. Instead of selling robots as hardware, Núcleus decided to market the service they provide; essentially, an employer hires an employee just as they do today—only, instead of a human, it is a robot that mimics human actions.

To further accelerate this process, the German startup Núcleus initially utilizes accessible platforms like the Unitree 01 robot, adapting the hardware for industrial applications. The models are fitted with more robust motors, reinforced components, and protective casing capable of withstanding dust, moisture, and the typical conditions of factory environments. Rather than waiting years for the perfect robot, the company prefers to put functional systems into operation quickly and improve them continuously.

Another interesting detail is that these robots do not yet operate entirely on their own; when they encounter an unexpected situation, human operators can take remote control for a few moments, guiding the machine until it learns how to resolve the issue. This model—known as "human-in-the-loop"—allows the robots to be useful from day one while their autonomy gradually increases.
