The diary game: [ 28/07/2026] market day.

Good evening, my people How is everyone doing today? It’s a wonderful day, right? I hope you all had a blessed day. Did you go to work, or were you home all day?

About my day:
My day was beautiful. Not much activity just a few things happened.

Today was more of a light work day. After finishing a few things at home and having breakfast, we decided to go to the market to get a few things we needed.

The fridge:
We got a fairly used fridge. We needed it for our cakes. We have a deep freezer, but it’s not good for cake, so we needed something else.
We saw the fridge advertised online, so we went to check the condition and the price.
It was in good condition and the price was fair, so we bought it from the guy.

He didn’t have the receipt at first, but I told him I wouldn’t pay without a receipt to avoid problems later. After searching for a while, he found it. I paid ₦100,000 for it.
I think that’s fair considering the price of a new one now.

The fridge

The market walk: After that, we walked through the market to check for African pear the one we usually eat with corn in the village. I didn’t know I’d find it fresh here in Jos. I bought some for ₦1,500. It was okay.

Then we went to where they sell heels. We started pricing the black ones because my girlfriend likes them. We bought a pair. It was a bit expensive, but it’s beautiful and looks strong.

Back home:
When we got home, we dropped off the fridge and plugged it in to test it. It’s working perfectly fine.

Then we remembered our fish. I quickly took it out to dry in the sun so it wouldn’t spoil. I love dried fish in my rice, so I always make sure I have some.

Dinner:
For dinner, my girlfriend made beans and chicken my favorite combo. I ate to my full.

So that was my day. Like I said, not much, just a brief gist.
