The diary game: [29/07/2026] funeral shopping.

Good day, beautiful people How are you all doing? How was your day? I hope it was beautiful.

Mine was beautiful, thanks to God.
I’m always grateful for His love and kindness.

Today
It was a beautiful day, and I did a lot.

We went to the market again for our final shopping before traveling tomorrow for a burial.
We woke up with a few things in mind to buy so we could take them to the village.
After house chores and a few other things, we headed to the market.

The market run:
First, we went to get Titus fish. I don’t know the English species name lol 😂 I just know it as Titus fish.
It’s sweeter and stronger in food than the rest we bought recently.
But it’s very expensive compared to the others.

We wanted to get 20 pieces for the burial, but one was going for ₦1,500.
That means 20 would cost ₦30,000 way out of our budget.
So we decided to get 15 instead. The woman even reduced ₦200 per one for us since we were buying plenty.
So we got 15 pieces.

After the fish, we also got Shea butter. One of our aunties in the village asked us to get some for them. It wasn’t expensive, so we got quite a few.

We also bought wine to give to the elders who will be coming to the house. We got 2 bottles. Wine is expensive, gosh 🤦😒 But we had to get it anyway.

Lol, my girlfriend was disturbing me that she wanted her favorite chocolate. So we went to get Fantasy chocolate. She’s a fan of it, so I always get it for her. Today wasn’t different we bought it and we were set to go home after a long day of buying.

Back home: We got a car and got home. I had my bath, ate something, and decided to rest my head a little. Here I am resting.

Today was good, like I said.
I also remembered the story I told you guys yesterday about the UNIJOS student who was killed by fellow students because he was accused of stealing a phone.
The suspects have been arrested and I believe justice will be served.
May his soul continue to rest in peace 🕊️
