THE DIARY GAME: NEW WEEK [15/06/2026]

Hey my fellow steemians, Monday is here again, welcome to another episode of my diary session. Come sit with me while I tell you how today went.

I woke up late today. Alarm rang 3 times before my eyes agreed to open first thing I did was step outside. Abuja morning air hits different - cool, quiet, no traffic noise yet. I stretched, said prayers, then went to charge my power bank because NEPA was already playing games.By 10am I decided to leave the house. No big plans, just fresh air. I walked to the small park near my area. Boys were playing football, someone was selling cold zobo, another guy was fixing his bike tire. I bought zobo for 200 naira and sat under a tree. Watching people hustle makes me appreciate my own small struggles. Everyone is fighting a battle we don’t see. My phone battery was dying fast, so I went to a café to charge and work on something small. The café had soft music playing. While waiting, I typed some ideas for the week. Monday always feels heavy, but writing makes it lighter.

Power came back around 4pm so I rushed home. Made tea, sat by the window, watched rain start small. That rain + tea combo is therapy. I slept off for like 2 hours without planning it. Woke up, checked my phone, replied messages, then called my mom. Talking to her always resets my mood. Then later went to the main road at night

Monday wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t wasted. We move, we learn, we try again tomorrow. Thanks for reading my diary. How did your own Monday treat you?
