The Diary Game: 30th April, 2026. Still on my new student's talk plus I had a very interesting day.

I think this is my testimony this week. I’m truly grateful to God for this one student He brought to my shop, because ever since he came, things have been different.

I left home quite early today, and when I got to the shop, he was already there. Not just him, but also my first student. This is someone who isn’t usually consistent and doesn’t come early, but somehow, because of this new guy’s seriousness and consistency, he has also started coming early.

When I arrived, I met both of them already there. I was really happy and pleased. They had even opened the shop and cleaned everywhere before I got there. I had given the new student the key because I trust him. Even though he’s just been around for about a week, he’s proven himself. He usually comes before me, around seven, while I get there by eight. He handles opening and cleaning before I arrive..everything was already set when I came in, and the whole place clean.

And they had brought the light early. We went ahead with lectures and did some teaching.

Later on, my lady came around. I called her earlier, and she mentioned they didn’t have lectures today, so I asked her to come over so we could talk and sort out a few things. Not long after, my brother also came by. He showed me his new iPhone 13 Pro which he just bought and we talked and laughed about it.

After they all left, I stayed alone for a while, scrolling through Facebook and playing a game until my data finished. I realized I hadn’t eaten all day, so I asked my student to get me yam. I ate around five o’clock.

By six, people were already closing up. The street became very busy because it was market day in Lokoja, and everyone was rushing home. I closed the shop and headed home as well.

When I got home, I ate very sweet moi moi and garri. I ate well, probably more than I should have.

After that, I took a quick shower and arranged my clothes for tomorrow. And that was how I closed my today. It was a good and productive day, and I’m grateful to God for everything.
