The Diary Game [16/04/2026] An awesome day, graced by the visit of Pope Louis XIV to the Northwest Region of Cameroon

Hello @everyone accept special greetings from me to you all on the Steemit platform .This week and today is a special day as pope Louis XIV is paying visit in my locality.Northwest region of Cameroon 🇨🇲 to be precise Bamenda . The pope arrived the previous day in the capital city of Cameroon Yaounde.Where he spend some time with people at the unitary palace and with the president .

It was a great moment for people to speak one on one with the Roman Catholic pope and recieved blessing . We as Catholic believe the pope is holy and there have that power of anointing and blessing upon people.To a pope is not an easy job you need to be holy , righteous and ready to serve God by leading the people .The whole world look upon you as religious to led.

Today in my locality the pope had to pay us a visit at the Bafut airport in Bamenda and after followed by mass .People have travel from far and near and other regions to joined us to welcome pope in Bamenda .The town is tense as everyone is heading to the airport with that excitement to see the pope .

I decided not to go but to follow all the programs through the national television CRTV. The pope was to arrived at 11:30 am at the airport .I had personal things to do in the house before following the pope program.Very soon we reopening back to school.

We have to set third term exams evaluation to past on the very day of reopening.Third term barely have three weeks in secondary school and students will go on holidays .Only those writing GCE form five and uppersixth will remain to write .The competitive exam. I had to plead with my husband to type some exams questions for me on his laptop .He was so kind and decided to help .

When he was done I went through and arranged everything to be okay. It was time for the pope arrival at the Bamenda Bafut airport .All the Christians in various domination came out to welcome the pope . Thousands of people were out to see the people .

The coverage by some radio stations and national television started having technical fault . The pope was immediately dressed with the Bamenda grassfield traditional regalia known as tog .The dress is so beautiful on him as if they measure it on him.

There were a lot of speeches and activities before the church service .During the speech he emphasised on peace , reconciliation, love and unity .Especially with the ongoing Anglophone crisis . A birth was allowed by the pope to fly as the sign of peace and gracing the land .

After, the church service started and at 4:30pm it ended . The pope had to take a flight and return to the capital city Yaounde.From there the next day he will be in Douala economic capital of Cameroon.After, he will take a flight from the national airport to other countries for visit like Ivory Coast 🇨🇮.

I had to take some few minutes and prepare evening food .Garden eggs either boiled sweet potatoes .My family and I enjoyed meal .It been long I ate this particular and I enjoyed abit of everything.After, eating we Calle it day by going to bed .It was a great end .A memorable graced with pope Louis XIV of Rome .
