The Diary Game:Church, Gist, and Sunday Washing (19/04/2026)
Greetings @everyone and fellow Steemians. Yesterday was Sunday and it was a proper Abuja Sunday with church in the morning and hustle at home after.
I woke by seven to the usual NEPA silence. Phone was on twelve percent, so I just prepared breakfast, dressed up and went to church. Service was good and I stayed back for youth meeting after.

We talked about programs for next month and shared gist about how everybody’s weekend went. One of the boys asked me how my weekend was, so I told him it’s been light-off, light-on, normal Abuja things. We laughed because everybody understood.

Afternoon after church I was hungry. I stopped at a fast food place and got jollof for eight hundred naira. Plate was hot and the pepper had taste. I ate there and watched people passing. The sun was serious but the food made it better.

When I got home, NEPA was still off so I brought out my bucket and started washing. Clothes had piled up from the week and Sunday is the only day I really have time. I washed singlet, jeans, church shirt, and spread them on the line. By the time I finished, everywhere was still quiet and the socket was still dead.
Light finally came by six-thirty and the whole compound shouted. I rushed to plug my phone and iron one shirt for tomorrow. Sunday ended like that. Church, youth meeting, jollof, washing, wait for light. Normal life.

Thanks to @steemitblog and the Diary Game organizers for the space to share our daily life.
