Good evening, dear Steemians!

I am thrilled to welcome each of you to yet another beautiful day and an opportunity to share a glimpse of my life with this amazing community. I hope you are all well and enjoying a blessed, productive weekend.

Today, I’d like to recount my Saturday, which was anything but ordinary. As the Chairman of the Management Committee at my church, I had a significant responsibility to fulfill.

My day began bright and early, knowing that we had a major task ahead: drilling a borehole on the church grounds. Recognizing the vital importance of water for our church and congregation made it essential for me to supervise the project from start to finish.

I arrived at the church early to ensure everything was in place before the drilling team showed up with their equipment, including pipes and other materials necessary for the project. One of my key responsibilities was to inspect the materials, particularly the casing pipes and the pump designated for the borehole.

Prior to the project, I had provided the contractors with the specific requirements for the materials and equipment needed. It was crucial for me to verify that what was delivered met those standards, as we couldn’t compromise on quality for a project expected to serve the church for many years.

Once all checks and preparations were completed, the drilling commenced. I stayed on-site to closely monitor the work, which turned out to be a long and demanding process requiring patience and diligence. I remained there until the task was fully accomplished.

Throughout the drilling, we maintained hope and prayer, trusting God for a successful outcome and reliable water. By His grace, our prayers were answered.

After the drilling was finished, the next critical step was to flush the borehole. Water was effectively pumped out and we continued the flushing until it was clean and safe for consumption. Witnessing the water flow after our hard work was a truly joyous and thankful moment.

I praise God for the successful completion of the borehole project. What started as a major undertaking in the morning concluded successfully by day’s end. It was a fully productive day, and every effort was worthwhile.

As Chairman of the Management Committee, I am grateful to God for the strength, wisdom, and grace to oversee this essential project from start to finish. I also want to thank every member of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Seaforth Congregation, Uyo Parish, for their support, cooperation, and dedication to our church’s growth.

This project serves as a testament to what can be achieved when people unite with a shared purpose, commitment, and faith in God. The borehole will serve our church and enhance the wellbeing of our congregation.

All glory, honor, and praise go to Almighty God for a successful project delivered to our church. Although it was a long Saturday, it was fulfilling.
