Hello friends, I hope you are all well. For the second week of the Steemit Challenge contest, I will be sharing my experience and a review of local small shop. I would like to thank the organizers of this challenge, and without further delay, I am starting my participation.

A visit to Supermarket- Shawpno

I visited the Shwapno supermarket; it is the largest super shop and supermarket in our country, where all grocery items along with daily necessities are available. Currently, Shwapno has nearly 850+ outlets across Bangladesh. There are more outlets in urban areas compared to Upazila areas.

The outlet I visited is the Bepari Para branch, which is one of their flagship stores. Thousands of products are available here. This outlet is located in the Bepari Para of Agrabad Commercial Area. Their outlet services are active every day from 10 AM to 10 PM, and shopping can be done online at any time.

All Shwapno outlets are very beautiful, and a very bright, colorful environment can be seen inside. Since it is a supermarket, it was exactly as a supermarket should be. Being air-conditioned, a cool environment prevails here at all times, which makes customers feel comfortable while shopping.

Upon entering, the first thing a customer will notice are the products arranged on large shelves. Since the size of Shwapno outlets is massive, all products have been kept category-wise. The shelves are organized so that customers can easily find their products.

Daily necessities like oil, sugar, flour, milk powder, tea leaves, noodles, etc., are all available here. Along with grocery items, cosmetics, kitchenware, juice, ice cream, frozen items, etc., including chocolates from various local and foreign companies, are also available. The price of the product is written on a small white paper next to each item, making it convenient for everyone to understand the pricing.

We have other options for supermarkets, but among them all, I like shopping at Shwapno the most. Tempting offers are often provided here. There are various offers including Buy One Get One, Buy Three Get Two, and discounts.

Customers can pay through digital payment services like bKash, Nagad, or bank cards. Even if you buy a very low-priced product, it comes with beautiful packaging and a money receipt. If you have a Shwapno membership, you earn coins on every purchase, which can be used for discounts.

✓ Tell us why you chose that supermarket or mini market.

There are 2-3 other supermarkets around me, but I prefer visiting Shwapno because the product prices are relatively lower compared to others, and all necessary products are available. Furthermore, another big reason customers return repeatedly is to grab their tempting offers, and no one wants to miss the "buy one get one free" deals.

✓ The price of the item you purchased from the supermarket or mini market

During my recent visit, I bought two products from Shwapno supermarket. Considering the hot weather outside, I was looking for something cold in the fridges and noticed Starship company’s mango milk. I bought one piece of mango milk along with a 200ml Mirinda; the total price was 55 Bdt/7.70 STEEM. No matter how cool the environment inside the shop was, I bought these products thinking about having to fight the heat once I stepped outside.

✓ Your shopping experience.

I have been completely satisfied with their service every time I’ve purchased something from Shwapno. As I mentioned earlier, even if I buy a product worth just 1 Taka, they provide it with a packet and a money receipt; in other words, they always maintain their quality. The mango milk and juice I bought were from a very recent production batch, and the taste was extraordinary. I am attaching the money receipt of the products below.

✓ What do you think the supermarket or mini market needs to do to expand and tell us if the business is lagging in patronage.

This supermarket has already spread across Bangladesh with its 850+ outlets and is constantly expanding into important places in cities and Upazilas. This shows that they are able to run their business very well on a large scale. Recently, they have been considering a deal with local grocery shops, which, if executed, would bring small and large grocery stores across Bangladesh under the Shwapno branding.

✓ Do you think a supermarket or a mini market should be more popular than a local business YES or NO?

Yes, I feel these supermarkets should be more well-known to people. Many people think that products in these flagship showrooms might be beyond the purchasing power of ordinary people. But the reality is that the same essential grocery items are sold here; people just don't yet understand the concept that all products are sold together as a supermarket. Therefore, they deserve to be even more popular.
