For, this weeks Shop & Share challenge .I visited a local street market shop; near my area in Pakistan. I chose this place because it is part of my daily routine and many people rely on it for their everyday needs) It may be a small shop; but it truly represents the real hustle of local traders,

1. Tell us why you chose that street or open market

I chose this street market, because it is close to my home and very convenient. for daily shopping; It is a place where many local people come to buy their basic needs at affordable prices. I also like supporting small local businesses(and this shop represents the real local market environment,

2. The price of the item you purchased from the street or the open market

I purchased:

• Chocolate (Dairy Milk Bubbly) for 150 PKR,
• Biscuit packet for 80 PKR,

The prices were reasonable and similar to other nearby shops;

About the Market

This is a small street-side grocery shop where you can find almost everything needed for daily life. As shown in my photos, the shop contains items like beans. chickpeas. macaroni. rice .tea, biscuits and chocolates, drinks, and sauces like mayonnaise, Everything is arranged neatly on shelves, making it easy for customers to find products)

My Purchase

During my visit. I bought,

• A chocolate (Dairy Milk Bubbly) – 150 PKR
• A packet of biscuits – 80 PKR,

The prices were reasonable and affordable compared to larger supermarkets.

3. Describe your shopping experience, including pricing, bargaining, and product quality

My shopping. experience,ss was good and comfortable, (The shopkeeper was friendly and cooperative), There was not much bargaining in this, type of shop. but the prices were already fair; The quality of the products was good, fresh, and (properly packed) Everything<s was neatly arranged, which made shopping easy,

4. In some places street or open markets usually cause traffic describe how busy the street or open market is

The market becomes busy. especially in the evening when people come after work. Due to the small space, there is sometimes a little crowd and minor traffic outside the shop, However; it is still manageable and does not create major problems,

5. What is your advice to the street or open market sellers to improve business performance?

In my opinion, sellers can improve their business by:

• Keeping the shop more clean and organized,
• Adding clear price tags on all items
• Improving product display to attract customers;
• Offering,s small discounts or bundle; deals

These improvement,s can help increase sales and bring more cu,stomers,

Shopping and Experience

• My shopping experience was simple and smooth) ( The shopkeeper was polite and cooperative. Unlike traditional open markets, there is not much bargaining here and but the prices are already fair;

• The products looked fresh. properly packed, and of good quality; The shop also had a fridge,s section with cold drinks, which is very convenient;

Crowd , Environment

The area becomes busy; especially in the evening when people come after work, Sometimes there is a little traffic or crowd outside the shop) but overall it is manageable; The environment is friendly and active.

Suggestion for Improvement,

In my opinion, the shop can improve by.

• Adding clear price labels on products,
• Improving,s product display and arrangement;
• Offering small discounts or in bundle deals

These steps can attract more customers and increase sale;
