Dear friends, I hope everyone is well. Today I am here with another new post for you all. In today's contest post, I will share with you the description of a very old and memorable place, as per the topic of this contest. Its location and detailed description are given below along with pictures.

1. Why is this place important to the history of your city or country?

The place I am sharing information about with you today and the pillar you can see in the picture is called Bijoy Chattar and it has a lot of history surrounding it. We all know that December 16 is the best Victory Day of Bangladesh and when you look at this Bijoy Chattar, you remember this December 16 and there is a lot of history behind it. After a long nine-month war, when Bangladesh became independent, December 16 was declared as Victory Day and we know this Bijoy Chattar as a tribute to that Victory Day. This Bijoy Chattar is located inside the Upazila Parishad of Dagondia Upazila. It has been officially created and there are such Bijoy Chattars in every Upazila. One was set up inside the Upazila Parishad in 2013. This Bijoy Sarkar was inaugurated on December 16, 2013 and the then Municipal Mayor and the then Upazila Chairman were present during the inauguration. This is a very important place in this Upazila where various types of programs are organized every year during various events.

2 . How is the site preserved today? Does it still fulfill its original function?

It is inside the Upazila Parishad and it is very beautiful and secure because there are many workers inside the Upazila Parishad who guard the Upazila Parishad and are engaged in security work and they also control this Victory. Currently, this Victory Square is very beautiful and has been preserved and people from different places come here to see this Victory information as it is a memorable establishment and presentation still reminds us of that Victory Day and when any new government official of this Upazila arrives, they all come to this Victory Square and gather and when any program is organized, they come to the Victory Square and organize the program. This Victory Square has been built very beautifully and very efficiently and many skilled workers are responsible for its management. 3 . How do you feel when you visit this place that represents the pride of your people?

One of the prides of our country is the Victory Square. Whenever I go to this Victory Square, I am reminded of the memory of the victory of Bangladesh which happened on December 16, 1971 and the victory was achieved after 9 months of war. This Victory Day has come at the cost of the lives of many people, due to which when I go to this Victory Square, I remember the history of that war and the history of victory. There are many deep information about Bangladesh hidden in this victory. When I remember them, I feel much better when I go to the Victory Square, especially when I go and sometimes if I get time, I go forward and sit next to the square and spend time and I feel very good and the environment around is very beautiful and it is very nice to see.

4 . If you could describe the energy of the place in three words, what would they be?

If I want to describe the power of this place in three words, it would be the history and culture of Bangladesh. This place is basically built around the history and culture of our country. This pillar has been built as a symbol of the history and culture of Bangladesh. Behind this pillar is the path of the rise of our country's history. How the brave men of our country and the common people of the country gave their lives for their language, fought and then liberated the country, this place or this monument has been built as a symbol of all that. It carries the history of the entire country, the sacrifices of the nation.
