THE DIARY GAME: Thanksgiving Sunday Service, Going to market and cooking delicious meal [3rd May, 2026]

Happy Sunday everyone😊 Hope you all had a lovely week.

Today was the Thanksgiving service at my church, which we Thank God for his blessings throughout the month.

Everyone would come dressed in their native attires, we would sing praises, dance and worship God for all he had done so far.

This was us during the praise section.

Everyone was so excited 😊

After the service, I got home, rested a bit and then got ready to go to the market. I planned on getting some food ingredients to cook.

I walled all the way to the market, under the scorching sun and honestly it was very tiring.

At the market, there were so many people who also came to get stuffs.

I located one of my usual customers where I buy things from cause it's cheaper and she sells well for me.

Here are the list of things I bought from the shop.

1. Rice
2. Beans
3. Pumpkin Seeds (Ogbonna, used for soups. This is how it looks like.)

Other things I bought are:

1. Locust Beans (Iru or Dawadawa)
2. Fresh pepper
3. Seasonings
4. Corn and cassava flour
5. Cow skin (Kpumo)
6. Crayfish and stock fish.

Then lastly I bought some vegetables

After everything, I started to walk back home tired.

This is me on the road, with my shopping bag.

My face was already blackened by the sun 😔😩

When i got home, I started cooking immediately, cause I knew if I waited, I might sleep off and it would be late before I start cooking.

I made corn/cassava meal. Then I made the Ogbonna soup. Here's how it looks 😁

It was very delicious 😋 and I slept for a while after eating. Then I woke up to make this post.
