It was sanitation day in our state, so I got to work tidying up the house and the nearby area. Maintaining a clean environment is crucial, and I truly enjoy contributing. There’s a satisfying feeling that comes with helping to keep our surroundings clean. I spent some time organizing the yard and ensuring everything looked neat. This isn’t just about aesthetics; it's also about creating a safe and healthy space for everyone. I took care to clear away debris and attend to outdoor areas that often get neglected. It was gratifying to see the space looking fresh and cared for.

Once the cleaning was done, I decided to treat my family to a special meal. One of my favorite dishes to cook is Otor, which always brings everyone together. The preparation is a bit time-consuming, but it’s certainly worthwhile. I started by peeling and grating wateryam, which serves as the base. Then, I cut it into small pieces into a boiled seasoned water to enhance the dish’s flavor. To make Oto even tastier, I add periwinkles and fish. The ingredients blend beautifully as they simmer, producing a hearty and satisfying meal. There’s something comforting about watching it all come together. Once everything was ready, I served the meal to my family. Sharing stories during dinner always makes it a special time.
