The Diary Game: 13 June 2026 A Fulfilling Day😊✌️

After meeting up with the guy and giving him what was probably one of the most unforgettable experiences of his life, I made my way to the market. I wasn’t buying anything major; I just needed washing soap and detergent since I plan on doing some laundry later in the week.

While walking through the market, I came across some little sea creatures displayed on a tray for sale. I couldn’t help but stop and admire them. I’m really looking forward to the day I’ll cook a meal with those proteins. For now, I can only imagine how nice they’d look swimming in a pot of soup. 🤤

By the time I got home, I was completely famished. I had left the house without breakfast and was returning hours later with nothing in my stomach except a sachet of water I drank on my way back. Food was the obvious solution, but I was too tired to cook or even wait for anyone to finish cooking, so I just settled for garri🤧

My friend, who was already in the kitchen, kept trying to convince me to wait a little longer because the food was almost ready. But at that point, Garri was my only salvation. 😂 Thankfully, it didn’t take too long before the food was ready. She served it alongside the Hausa delicacy we had the previous day, and honestly, it made perfect sense.

After eating, all I wanted was rest. I laid down for a while and before I knew it, I opened my eyes to darkness. It’s funny how a long sleep can feel like it only lasted a few minutes. I eventually got up, pulled myself together, scrolled through social media for a bit, went through my usual night routine, and just like that, the day came to an end.
