A beautiful experience playing keyboard in church today

Welcome to a dairy session with @sammykey. I was invited to one of the churches around my church today. The church name is UEC Church, Umomi. Actually, this is my first time of visiting that church but I do enjoyed the service today.

While we were praising God, everyone enjoyed. They have a good sound systems I must say. And the lead vocalist and the backups singers were good. We used Base guitar, keyboard and drums because these are the only three types of musical instruments they have. Honestly, I love how they drummer and the bassist played with me today. While I was playing keyboard, I enjoyed them and the praise section went well.

Honestly, the worship section went well but just that, the lead vocalist go off a bit but I was able to follow her up. To the glory of God, the worship section went well.

Though I came to play keyboard oo but the message touched my heart. Our today's topic was Oil of Joy. I must say, I touched by the message.

During the offering praise, the lead vocalist sing very well but she was singing with Yoruba language all through. Though, I didn't understand the language but I enjoyed the songs because I was able to follow the progression. Following the progression of the songs was what I learnt very when I started the journey of music. By the grace of God, God is helping me already. So, the offering praise went well.

In my life, I love hymns more than any other songs. The hymns section was very powerful and I enjoyed it even when today was the first time I heard that particular hymns song.

Though I didn't rehearse with choir because it's not my church. I was just invited to play in place of a fellow keyboardist that went to NYSC. Even as the fact that I didn't rehearse with them, I could be able to play for them because they sang Theophilus Sunday's Song title: Earthen vessel.

Immediately after the closing prayer, Pastor still act us to do small praise that will usher people out. We did and it was great.

The food and payment/sup>

Immediately after the service, one Usher and choir director took me to the Pastor's room and the Pastor's wife offered me rice and stew with Akara on top. Then the pastor came and gave me 10k. Though I didn't played for money but being a student, I had to collect the money because it will help me with food stuff throughout this week.

Honestly, today's service was great. I enjoyed every sections. I was blessed by all the ministrations. I have been sleeping since I came back from church because this is the Sabbath, it's our resting day. So, that was how my day went and I am happy to share it with you all.
