ABOUT MY DAY

Today started early for me, and honestly, I was up before my alarm even went off. There's something about workers prayer meeting days that just wakes me up naturally, almost like my body already knows it's a special day. I got dressed quickly, said a quick prayer at home, and set out for church to meet up with other members for the workers prayer meeting by 7am.

The meeting was powerful. We prayed over the week, over our jobs, our families, and the nation at large. There's always a renewed sense of strength that comes from starting the day this way, surrounded by other believers all seeking direction and covering for the day ahead. We closed by 8:30am, and after a few minutes of catching up with some brethren, I made my way straight to work.

I work with a company that imports and sells cars, agricultural tyres, and also caterpillar and crane tyres. It's a fairly busy industry because we deal with clients who need heavy-duty equipment for construction, farming, and haulage business, so no two days are ever really the same. Today was a fairly regular day though, mostly attending to clients, following up on some pending orders, and handling the usual business of the office. I also had a few calls with suppliers to confirm stock for some tyre sizes that were requested by a client, and I spent some time going through invoices to make sure everything was in order before the day ran out.

MEALS

Food-wise, today was a simple day. In the morning, before heading out, I had rice, which gave me enough energy to face the activities of the day without feeling weighed down. By evening, after all the running around at work, I settled for roasted yam, which honestly hit differently after a long day. There's something comforting about coming home to a well-roasted yam, especially when you're hungry and tired from work. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was filling and satisfying, and that's really all I needed today.

EVENING PROGRAM

By 6pm, I went back to church again, this time for an evening program. Even though I had already been to church earlier that morning, I made sure to go back because the evening program was just as important to me. It was a time of further teaching, worship, and fellowship with other members, and it helped me reflect on everything that had happened during the day. Sitting through the program, I found myself grateful for how the day had unfolded, from the early morning prayers to a productive time at work, and now rounding it off with more spiritual nourishment in the evening.

Overall, today was a balanced mix of worship, work, and rest. I started the day with God, spent the middle of the day being productive at work, and closed the day back in His presence. Grateful for the strength to go through the day, and grateful for good health, provision, and the people around me who make each day worth living. Days like this remind me that no matter how busy life gets, there's always room to prioritize faith, work, and personal well-being all at once.
