Diary Game:[29/04/26] The Day NEPA Did Not Do Us Bad.

I woke up 6:30am and the fan was still spinning.
I thought I was dreaming.
NEPA[Govern bodies responsible for giving light to the citizens]
They normally take the light by 5am like it's their
office closing time.
But today? Nothing.

NEPA giving us light.

I lay there for 10 minutes still wondering if am still in a dream or not.
My phone was already 100%.
Power bank was 100%.
Even my neighbor's generator was silent.
I went to outside to check if it's was only my house that's is enjoying these light.
Behold it was everywhere
I whispered " Thank you Jesus" and quickly plugged everything: Laptop, Rechargable lamp and Torchlight.
Still having it in mind that these light might not last.

By 12pm light was still active. I was confused on what to do with 24/7 power because it's been a very very long time we had such. First I ironed some of my VIPs clothes, funny enough even my bedsheets received ironing. Then I remembered I still have some packs of indomie and 3 eggs.

As I was consuming the meal I was enjoying the movie I was watching.
"Light for ikorodu from morning till afternoon.
These is a big miracle!" I exclaimed.

4pm, 5pm , 6pm...light Still dey. By 9pm, kids were still outside playing because street was so bright. No generator noise. Just peace.

I was so excited.

I smiled so hard.

It's was 11:47pm and light was still active. I don't know if to sleep or stay awake to monitor it like a new baby This is how people for abroad feel everyday. Having 24/7 light and no low current issues. I am typing this with my phone plugged in like a remote job worker hustling. If NEPA does this for 7days straight, my blood pressure would definitely drop. But I know tomorrow might not be sure. So tonight I will enjoy every bit of the light.
