Diary Game: [3/05/26] A Very Exquisite Day In The Church.
Good Day Steemians and welcome to another episode of @zorrmusk Today church was different. Not the usual rush-in, rush- out Sunday. The moment I steeped through the gate, the air felt softer. The choir was already rehearsing when I entered. Their voices weren't perfect --- duhh no one is perfect right?.
Sister Tolu missed one note -- but the harmony wrapped around me like my mom's warm wrapper.
For once I didn't check my phone.
I just sat at the back, and let my chest settle.

The Congregation Felt the impact.
Pastor didn't even shot today. He taught from Colossians. He said "Don't Force a Family, Christ gives Family". I looked around and finally saw people. Mummy Nkechi fanning herself.

Mummy Nkechi filled with the presence.

Sis Chinelo worshipped like never before.
Bro David nodding with that new car smile.
That quiet usher who always saves me a seat at the back.
We sang "You are Yahweh" and the whole place lifted.
Not loud, not performance just pure praise and worship to God.
After service nobody rushed. We stood under the mango tree sharing groundnuts and gist. Elder John prayed about my microblogging ventures. "You are going to be one of the best writers soon" he said. For the first time in weeks, I didn't feel like I was going through life alone. Church wasn't a program today.
It was a table, and I had a seat.
I came in lonely and I left full.
If every Sunday could feel like this, I would never miss one.
Today was exquisite --- yh yh not because anything big happened but because I remember I belong.
