⚠️ Service Notice: steemd.blazeapps.org Temporarily Offline – Rebuilding in Progress

Hello community,

I'm writing to inform you that my Steem full API node at https://steemd.blazeapps.org is currently offline due to an unexpected infrastructure issue.

What Happened?

Earlier today, the Hetzner server hosting the node rebooted without warning or apparent cause. Upon attempting to restart the steemd Docker containers, the service failed to initialize with startup errors. After investigation, it appears the chain database may have experienced corruption during the abrupt reboot.

While I've generally had a good experience with Hetzner, this incident highlights the reality that even reliable providers can have unpredictable moments. I'm currently locked into a favorable long-term pricing agreement, which makes migrating to another provider challenging in the short term—but rest assured, I'm evaluating redundancy strategies to improve resilience moving forward.

⏱️ Estimated downtime: Several hours (blockchain replay is time-intensive). I'll post an update once the node is fully synced and serving requests.

What You Can Do (Temporary Workarounds)

If your dApp, bot, or wallet is configured to use https://steemd.blazeapps.org, please consider these options until service is restored:

🔹 Enable load balancing / auto-failover in your client configuration
🔹 Add backup public nodes to your endpoint list.
