Note: Upvoting and resteeming this post directly motivates me to continue building and improving the Steem Virtual Machine ecosystem. Your support is greatly appreciated!

The Steem Virtual Machine (SVM) has reached a monumental milestone today, crossing 200,000 blocks produced. This achievement highlights the incredible stability and resilience of our network as we approach the August 1st deadline for validator rewards.

Previous Updates

Governance Success: Proposal Passed

I am pleased to confirm that the recent upgrade proposal has successfully received votes from 10 validators. With this level of consensus, the proposal will pass easily, ensuring that our network parameters remain optimized for performance and usability. This success demonstrates the active engagement and responsibility of our validator set.

Upcoming: SHERPA Allocation Details

As August 1st approaches, I will be posting a detailed breakdown of the 5,000,000 SHERPA allocation for all eligible validators tomorrow. This post will include:

  • The list of all qualifying validators.
  • The exact share each validator will receive.
  • Details on how and when these tokens will be distributed upon the transition to the Live Public Network.

Stay tuned for this important announcement!

Network Health & Statistics

The blockchain continues to operate flawlessly, with a significant portion of recent activity coming from rigorous testing of the Sherpa Protocol and the SVM App by myself, other validators, and community testers.

Current Network Stats:

  • Total Blocks Produced: 200,000+
  • Total Transactions: 955
  • Registered Addresses: 79
  • Average Daily Transactions: ~66
  • Active Validators: 11+

The increase in daily transactions to an average of 66 shows that our testing efforts are intensifying, helping to identify any final edge cases before the mainnet launch.

Current Validator Set

A huge thank you to all current validators for their uptime, voting participation, and dedication to securing the testnet:
