This is essentially a proposal shared with the intention of improving the Steemit platform, enhancing user experience, and ensuring its long-term sustainability. If it is not considered beneficial or necessary for the platform, we are fully prepared to withdraw it. That is precisely why your feedback is extremely important to us.

It is crucial to understand the core purpose and necessity of this proposal. We are considering developing a camera-based feature that will ensure a completely authentic and real-time blogging experience for users.

Steemit is a social media and blogging platform where countless users continuously share their experiences, thoughts, and daily activities. However, a major issue is the lack of content authenticity in many cases. Problems such as using old photos as new, presenting others’ images as one’s own, or showing photos from different days as part of a specific day’s activities are gradually damaging the platform’s credibility.

We have already observed such irregularities even in popular segments like the Diary Game. As a result, genuine readers and users may gradually lose interest. If this trend continues, it could be harmful to the platform in the long run user engagement may decline, and the overall quality of content may deteriorate.

On the other hand, if we can provide an effective solution to this issue and ensure 100% authentic content, the positive impact will be significant. Users will be able to create and consume content with greater confidence, new users will be attracted, and the overall quality and acceptance of the platform will increase.

The proposed camera feature is designed to address these issues by incorporating real-time data, timestamps, and relevant information, making each blog more trustworthy. This will help ensure a true “real blogging experience.”

In this context, we believe that DAO funding for the development of this feature is both logical and necessary. This is not just a feature, but a strategic investment in ensuring the platform’s long-term quality, credibility, and growth.
