Steem Snakes 🐍 Game Development Update: Multiplayer Test Match & Our Journey Towards Launch

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well. As many of you already know, Friends Witness Team has been working continuously to build valuable projects for the Steem ecosystem. Our goal has always been to create something that is not only useful for the community but also helps bring more engagement and new opportunities to the Steem blockchain.

After successfully developing SteemOne.com, our next major project is the Steem Snakes Game, a blockchain-based multiplayer browser game. Alhamdulillah, the development is progressing steadily, and every day we are getting one step closer to our official release.Today, I would like to share some of our latest development progress along with the experience of our recent multiplayer test session.

Our Development Continues

Building a multiplayer game is much more challenging than developing a traditional web application. Every feature must work smoothly for multiple users at the same time while maintaining fast synchronization, stable networking, and an enjoyable gaming experience.

Because of this, we are carefully testing every stage before making the game available to everyone.This approach may take a little more time, but we believe that releasing a polished product is much more important than releasing it too early.

Multiplayer Squad Formation

One of our recent developments is the Squad Formation System, where players can create or join multiplayer rooms before entering the arena.

In this stage, we tested:

• Room creation
• Player invitation system
• Squad management
• Maximum player limitation
• Connection between the lobby and the game server

Although we discovered several networking issues during testing, identifying these problems early allows us to solve them before the official launch.

Lobby System Testing

We also tested the complete Squad Lobby with real users.

Players were able to:

Join the same room
View teammate information
Change Ready/Not Ready status
Wait for all players before the match starts

Testing with real users is extremely important because actual gameplay always reveals issues that cannot be found during internal development.During this session we collected valuable feedback that will help us improve the overall multiplayer experience.

Random User Test Match

To better understand the current state of the game, we organized a random multiplayer test match with community members.The purpose of this test was not simply to play the game it was to identify:

• Connection stability
• Match synchronization
• Room behavior
• User experience
• Possible bugs
• Performance under real-world conditions

Alhamdulillah, the overall feedback from participants was very encouraging.The testers enjoyed the gameplay and also shared several useful suggestions that will help us polish the game even further before release.

This type of community testing is extremely valuable because every suggestion helps us build a better product.

Worm Arena

The current version of the game already includes the Worm Arena, where players can choose their favorite skins before entering the battlefield.

• Multiplayer synchronization
• Snake movement
• Arena optimization
• Skin system
• Match stability
• Overall user experience

Every new update brings the game closer to the quality we want to deliver.

We Are Not Rushing the Release

Many community members are eagerly waiting for the official launch, and we truly appreciate your excitement.However, we don't want to release an unfinished product.

Instead, our focus is on:

• Stable multiplayer gameplay
• Smooth performance
• Better user experience
• High-quality interface
• Reliable server communication

Even if it requires a little more time, our goal is to deliver a multiplayer game that the Steem community can genuinely enjoy.

What's Coming Next?

Our next development phase will focus on improving multiplayer stability and completing the remaining game systems.

We are working hard every day to make this project something special for the Steem ecosystem.
