As a unique source of interesting and traditional food in this special cultural expedition. Today I will share with you all the traditions of cooking Khichuri by my mother. Here I go to the market to buy fresh vegetables and meat. And I get interested in buying the best vegetables and fresh meat in the market. Traditional cooking is really memorable and can be done in a very simple way with joy. Which includes memories.

1000038294.png

First, cut the meat into small pieces. Then, wash it three times with clean water. Then, wash the rice three times with clean water. Then, put the rice in a strainer to catch the water. Then peel and clean the necessary ingredients including onion, green chilli, garlic, carrot, tomato. Clean and chop the coriander leaves. Next, cut the necessary vegetables including onion, green chilli into nice size. Then put the curry on the stove. First add the onion, chilli and garlic ingredients. Then add the ingredients including soybean oil, required turmeric salt and mustard seeds cumin.

1000038297.png

Then combine all the ingredients and add the ginger paste and garlic paste. Then mix all the ingredients well. You will see that a beautiful and juicy masala is ready for cooking khicury. Next, add the meat to the pan and mix well. Then add the potatoes and carrots to the pan and mix well again.

After mixing all the ingredients well, you can use coriander leaves to flavor the curry. However, coriander leaves in khichdi create a delicious and savory feel.

Here, add 200 ml of water, cover it and boil the meat. After 15 minutes, you will see that the water in the pan has dried up. Then add the pulao rice. Then reduce the heat of the stove and fry the rice lightly. Later, add 250 ml of water again. And mix it.

Then add the garam masala powders and mix. Then mix and put the lid back on. Reduce the heat of the stove and remove the curry from the stove after 15 minutes. Then I decorated it with coriander leaves and tomatoes. Finally, I completed cooking my mother's beef and vegetable khichdi. My mother may not be alive but her techniques are in my hands and in my heart.

Here I have given a date along with a name tag and username. I have also displayed a selfie here.

Task 2: Family Story & Cultural Transmission

My mother taught me how to cook this special beef vegetable pulao rice khichuri. She is not picky but I used to eat this traditional beef khichuri on rainy days. When the rain comes in hot weather, it cools the whole area. Then the beef khichuri with vegetables looked very delicious. In our Bangladeshi taka, the price of one kg of beef was only 80 taka steem price 11.23. Currently, the price of one kg of beef is 820 taka, steem price 115.

This special dish is very traditional and memorable, including my memories with my mother. When she cooked, I would sit by the stove and watch her cooking techniques carefully. And when she gave which ingredient, I would watch more carefully. Usually, normal food is eaten every day. But when it rains, Khichuri is a tradition and unique at that time. Along with that, I still like to eat Khichuri when it rains. And I enjoy the joy of cooking and also follow the times of my childhood mother's association. Beef vegetable Khichuri is a tradition from childhood to now. Because this dish is loved by everyone in our area with joy. That is why this dish creates the importance of childhood with tradition and eternity. For the importance of family, this dish creates a warm feeling in the cold and dryness. And we loved to eat it hot. This special combination of beef vegetable and pulao rice creates a peaceful and delicious atmosphere for ages. One of the familiar dishes and is very important in fun.

Task 3: Cultural Connection

At that time, traditional food included beef, vegetable khichdi, which was a cheap cooking companion. My parents and younger brothers could eat good food together at a low cost. My whole family liked this food. At that time, life was very happy even at a low cost. We could eat each other's favorite foods naturally. My long time spent with my mother in this special cooking is the biggest gift of my life. This cooking deeply reminds me of tradition and my memory. And those techniques of watching my mother's cooking prove my past as present. Which really values me still in an interesting way. Whenever I cook this, it will be reflected. When I was focused on completing the above cooking tutorial, every step was followed by my mother. I may not get her back, but her techniques are included in me. These techniques connect my past with the present.
Here I invite three of my favorite friends to participate in this special contest. And to bring up everyone's memories and traditions. @hjrrodriguez @dedejur @ab-rich23 I am grateful and I wish you all success.
