Assalamu Alaikum,
Today is the Halkhata (recovery of outstanding balance of goods sold) of our pesticide shop. We have 350 customers in this shop who have saved their crops by taking the remaining balance of pesticides. Now the farmers have brought all the crops, paddy, almonds, corn, which are at the end of the season. We had to borrow products from some pesticide companies to run our shop, now they have to close, for which we have now arranged to collect the outstanding balance. June 22 was that day, Monday. Today I am going to share my activities for the whole day.
I woke up in the morning and saw clouds and rain in the sky. We are tensed that if the weather is like this, the money will be less because there are many farmers who will sell their crops in the market today and pay the money. I will ignore the rain and go to get fish. Today's meal will be white rice, fish and pulses. I left the house and reached the place in 4 minutes. The fish market starts at 12 noon. We had ordered in advance. I weighed 80 kg of fish and will cut the fish from them. 4 workers are starting the work of cutting the fish. It will take them 40 minutes to cut the 80 kg of fish. We are waiting until they finish cutting. When we finished cutting the fish, we paid the money, filled the cut fish into sacks, and set off on our bikes together.
I was with the Roof Crop Care Company and its representative. His house was near the Bariya Bazar. While going, I was passing by his house. He would be with us all day. He took more clothes and I waited in front of his house for some time.
We reached our market at 11 o'clock. We unloaded the fish. The cook has already arrived and has prepared the stove and placed the pot on it. After bringing the fish, they have started cleaning the fish. Someone is working to light the fire in the stove. After lighting the stove, three stoves will be used for cooking at once. First, dal is placed in one and water is given for rice in one. Fish is being fried in another stove. Cooking has started but it will take a long time to fry the fish. Once the rice is done, the spices are being roasted to make fish curry. Once the spices are roasted, the cooking will be finished with fried fish.
There were a few of us who were arranging the dining area. They were setting up the chairs and tables and cleaning them. When the cooking was done, the cooked handis were brought inside the pandal. We would eat there at noon. I came home and brought my father. We all sat together and had lunch there at noon and our Halkhata officially started.
I have been sitting in the shop since afternoon, looking at the ledger and taking money from the creditors. I sat there in the afternoon and got up from there at night. Customers started coming in the afternoon and there was a lot of pressure from evening till 10 pm. We continued this activity till 11.30 pm. We collected 62% of the remaining money. Today there were some buyers who could not sell the crops due to bad weather, so they took 3/4 days and wanted to pay in the meantime. Today was the Argentina vs Austria game. We watched that game through the project and returned home at 1 am. I am ending today's situation, Allah Hafez.
