SLC33-W1: My Community, My Story – A Need to Know Place Around Me

Today, I have come to participate in the first week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S33/W1, organized by the Honorable organaizer @josepha sir. He has brought a wonderful challenge whose name is "My Community, My Story – A Need to Know Place Around Me". I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Roads of Dhakamatch, Shyampur, Dhaka

We see thousands of scenes around us. Many times, there are important roads nearby that are very important for society, but for unknown reasons, the roads have not been renovated. The important road is in a neglected state. For today's challenge, I will discuss such an important but neglected road and pin it on the steem-atlas map.

Today, the place I am going to present is a road. The road is also considered as the border of the capital Dhaka and the district town Narayanganj. Because the area of ​​the capital Dhaka starts from one side of the road and the city of Narayanganj starts from the other side. However, overall, it is known to everyone as a road within Dhaka. As such, the real address of the place is located next to the Dhaka Match Mahalla under the Shyampur police station. The road runs vertically. One side of it goes towards the Dhaka-Narayanganj main road. The other side goes towards the populated neighborhood of Paschim Rasulpur. There are many steel mills on both sides of the road, where a lot of steel is produced.

Today I visited an important but neglected road. As I have already said, the area is industrial. The area is very popular, especially for the steel industry. As an industrial area, thousands of people live here, most of whom are workers in these industrial establishments. This is the main road for them to come and go.

Moreover, this is the main road for medical treatment, shopping, and commuting to schools and colleges. Being an industrial area, heavy trucks ply here every day carrying various raw materials for industrial production. For these reasons, the road mentioned today is very important.

Waterlogging has occurred due to the accumulation of water.

People from several areas travel through this road, such as West Rasulpur, Shahibazar, Miraj Nagar, and thousands of people living in Bau Bazar use this road for all their activities. They take advantage of this road for business, jobs, going to school and college, going to hospitals for medical services, going to different places for entertainment, going out for shopping, going to the market, etc. Without this road, they will not be able to complete any of their work.

Not only that, without this road, the industrial establishments in this area will also become useless. Because this road is used to bring the necessary goods for their production. Again, the industrial establishments also have to rely on this road while selling the goods produced.
In short, because of this road, some neighborhoods in this area are prosperous. Because of this road, the industrial establishments have been able to continue their industrial production.

The place I visited today is a road. The road is important in many ways, which I have already mentioned. But despite being so important, the road is neglected. The road condition is very bad. Perhaps the situation is an understatement, but the road is full of potholes. Even after a little rain, you can't tell how many potholes there are. In this situation, many problems arise when a car drives. Especially small cars are often have accidents. Passengers are harassed.

The cars carrying raw materials for various industries stand on the road. As a result, the road becomes narrow. It becomes difficult for other cars to pass. The problem does not end here, waste and scrap from steel mills are brought and kept on the road, which takes up a lot of space on the road.

The road I observed has many problems in moving; we have to face various obstacles, we have to accept harassment, and it is an important road for us. This road is the main means of entry and exit for thousands of people like me. The road keeps the pace of our students' studies going, and plays an important role in getting jobs and doing business. As a resident of this area, I can say that despite the many difficulties in our movement, it is very important for us.

Based on my story and the life of the community, I will not recommend that any visitors visit this place. In my opinion, we are all responsible for the bad condition of this important road. Due to our ignorance, we have to face unbearable hardships when using the road for a long time. This is a shame for us. It is also a shame to present one's shame and inability in front of others.

When a visitor comes, if everything is beautiful and tidy, it feels good to oneself, and the visitors also enjoy it. But at this moment, if visitors come here, they will have trouble, so I will not recommend any visitors to come here.

However, I believe that the appropriate authorities will repair the road very soon. It will be suitable for movement. We will be able to travel smoothly. Then I will definitely recommend that visitors visit this place.
