The Diary Game || 14-6-26 || My Sunday Journey: From Church Preparation to the Football Field

‎Greetings everyone here on steemit and welcome to another diary session with @archie25. I would be sharing my day activities with you all.

morning

‎Today I woke up very early around 5:30am Nigerian time, I did my usual morning routine, I give God all the glory for seeing me through yet another day. The weather was a bit condensed as rain begin to drill down, at first I thought it would be another rainy day but later on around 7:00am the weather became clement and the rain stop. I did my usual house chores, sweeping the compound and putting some things in places.

‎Since today is Sunday and we had a combine service in the church that brought three other congregation together in one church auditorium. I had to help look for chairs to accommodate more members because I knew that the church would be overcrowded. Around 7:10am., I went out with one of my Church brother to nearby congregations to gather chairs and transport to where the service will be held, after two rounds gathering the chairs, we arrange it in order properly.

‎I left the church after arranging the chairs to a Barbing Salon to cut my hair in other to look nice I spent about 40 minutes in the Barbing Salon.

‎After Barbing my hair I returned home to prepare for church service, since I stressed out myself that morning I needed to eat before going to church, so I warm the left over rice and stew I had in the kitchen and I eat it with boiled egg.

‎I was a little bit late to church today, service started by 9:00am but I arrived church premises by 9:30am. The praise leader lead with choruses, follow by Hymn rendition by the congregation, then Choir Rendition by the children's choir and the Main choir and worship was led by one of the Elder.

‎Since today's service was to raise money for church building project everything was done quick in other to meet up with time. After worship, three other choir render praises to God follow by Offering and Appeal/launching for the church building project.

Afternoon

‎Church dismissed around 1:30pm, I went back, when I reach home I lay down a bit on the bed. I didn't have any food left in the house and I was so hungry and exhausted. Fortunately for me there is a woman that sells food close to my house, she don't normally sells on Sundays, so I was surprised to see her. I bought beans from her to satisfy my hunger.

‎After eating, I lay down again hoping to sleep, but sleep did not come. So I spent time on my phone watching Korean drama series and surfing the internet.

Evening

‎Around 5:00 p.m., I went to our local football field. Since it had been a long time since I played football, I decided to be a spectator. As soon as I arrived, many people greeted and hailed me because of the way I used to play football back in the early 2010s. Football was my passion and hobby then, and people even nicknamed me Chicharito after Javier Hernández, the former Manchester United player and Mexican international. He was my football idol in those days.

‎Due to certain life circumstances, I no longer have much time to play football or even watch matches regularly. Still, I enjoyed watching the young players and had a good time at the field.

‎Later, I returned home. Since I had no food to cook and I was not very hungry because the beans I ate earlier had satisfied me, I decided not to enter the kitchen.
