The Diary Game || Came Across A Delonix Regia Flower Plant | 06-05-2026

Been quiet a long time here. This period, there has been a lot of activities and engagement that literally took my time away from here. I have seriously missed here but I'm back now by his Grace.

So today i came across a beautiful plant known as "delonix regia". In a brief description, it is a multipurpose tree that is been harvested from the wild for diverse range of local uses, which includes for medicines, food, timber, fuel and even beads. It is usually developed a broad but then here in Nigeria, it was cultivated as it spreads it's crown. It grows about 30-40 m tall, but occasionally reaches up to 15 m in height.

It features a fern-like leaves and displays a flamboyant orange-red flowers over the summer time. In many tropical places in the world, it is grown as an ornamental tree or plant. This particular structure had theirs planted outside but then, during their functional days they do not allow people nearing the plant. Otherwise I would have taken a close picture of it.

The beauty this tree comes with was exceptional. I found this plant on my way to go fetch gas, which isn't much distance from my apartment as I trekked. It is located at ossah, umuahia, Abia state, Nigeria. Just along the road but beautiful placed in a safe place, serving as shield during sunrise.

This tree or plant can as well be referred to as "a flamboyant or "royal poincaina" and also bear the name "flame tree" which describes the beauty that protrude out from the tree. It could litter the street, that's why it's most preferably to cultivate indoors, flower pot, under a full sun about 10°c.
