The Diary Game: A Cold Morning, Office Duties And An Exhausting But Rewarding Workday [10/06/2026]
This morning was one of those mornings where getting out of bed felt like a punishment. The clouds were dark and heavy, the cold had settled into everything and my bed was doing everything in its power to convince me to stay just a little longer. But then I asked myself a simple question — how do I get paid if I refuse to show up? That was all the motivation I needed.

I got to the office at around 8am and the first thing I did was pick up the mop. Nobody wants to start a productive day stepping on a dirty floor and I personally believe that a clean environment sets the right tone for everything else that follows. So I swept, mopped and dusted until the whole place looked and felt right.

After I finished tidying up the office, I had to quickly step out again. My boss needed a package delivered to a particular venue and I had to go book a dispatch rider to handle that. So I headed out, sorted that and made sure the delivery was properly arranged before heading back.

On my way back, I grabbed some snacks to kill the hunger that was already creeping in. It wasn't a full meal but it was just enough to keep me going until I could properly settle back into the day's work.

When I got back to the office, the real work began. I had documents to prepare and adjustments to make for clients. It was detailed work that required full concentration but I locked in and got through it faster than I expected. Sometimes you just have to put your head down and push.

By 5pm, I shut everything down and headed home. My body was tired, my eyes were heavy and all I wanted was to rest. It wasn't a glamorous day but it was a productive one and at the end of the day, that is what matters most.
